A first look at TablePro on Windows 👀 @countradooku has been cooking on an early port, still a lot to polish and rework, but looking good so far
let's go

Love seeing the Rust + GPUI desktop ecosystem thriving! irori is a sleek, native game launcher that ditches Electron and brings Steam, Epic, GOG, Amazon, itch.io, and emulators into a single interface. It handles Wine and Proton out of the box, runs across Linux, Mac, and Windows.
Check it out: irori.app

im loving this gpui trend
it’s 0.1.0 so expect rough edges:
windows builds aren’t signed yet (smartscreen will complain, click “more info → run anyway”)
flathub coming, for now there’s a flatpak bundle
steam deck works, big picture opens in game mode
bug reports very welcome 🙏 github.com/irori-app/irori

I wanted to show how janky the AI slop is of the FilmCraft software.
I wanted to set the stage for how bad it is, and how little care there has actually been in implementing this tool, and most definitely the entire Craft suite too.
It's all AI slop that does not even work.
Radu Diaconu retweeted
Why? Why spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on slop tokens when you could direct the same effort and tokens at good, established, distributed projects like LibreOffice, Gimp, Kdenlive, Thunderbird, etc etc
My hunch is that this is pure clout chasing and they have zero interest in actually maintaining the software past its slop-formation

software is so so so performative now
"yessss bro, i created a "alternative" for a software that already exists but now it has 1/100 of the features , is 500% slower, 1000% more memory inefficent for the same tasks that you cant compose anything to get anything of value out of this, and ruins the image of every alternative that is trying to do better but its 25 mb and made in rust , and its made using opus 5.5 which is "agi" so it must be good , btw dont forget to pay for 25 dollar a month subscription for ai features which works 1 in 6 times "
Sockudo 5.1.0 is out 🚀
• MCP server for AI agents
• Full OpenTelemetry
• Apple Live Activities
• Brokerless OMQ adapter
• Redis Sentinel failover without restarts
The Pusher-compatible realtime server, built in Rust 🦀
github.com/sockudo/sockudo/r…
4/ Get it:
docker pull ghcr.io/sockudo/sockudo:5.1.…
cargo install sockudo --locked
Heads-up: minimum Rust is now 1.95.
3/ Also new: memory-pressure admission control, a /ready endpoint, dashboard 2FA, a first-party Laravel driver, and much faster mutable-message appends.
Pusher V1 compatibility is unchanged. Everything new is opt-in.
2/ The new MCP server lets AI agents publish, read history, inspect presence, and run ops on your realtime infra, with scoped tokens, per-app allow-lists, and audit logs. Embedded or as a standalone binary.
Just integrated GPUI Kit into gpui-native: 86 native components for Vue, React and Svelte, running on desktop and WebAssembly.
Thanks @huacnlee for building GPUI Kit! Excited to bring it to more developers.
