In the interest of public safety and to facilitate the smooth conclusion of the ongoing exercise, the County Government of Mombasa has ordered the temporary closure of all schools within the prescribed vicinity tomorrow.

10:30AM - A loud bang is expected shortly as part of the controlled demolition exercise taking place in the island of Mombasa. There is no cause for alarm or panic as all necessary safety measures have been observed.
Post-demolition, the dust is expected to settle in a little over an hour after the bang.
