This Ride 4 footage on PS5 shows the first-person perspective of a rider racing through a suburb on a rainy day and demonstrates the special phenomenon that can occur when a game passes a 'reality detection' threshold

this video from @cobie really hits the mark, especially the part about parents and how we got scammed, not getting to experience their true personalities while growing up.

You will hear a lot from me on this in the time ahead, but I want to mention a few key reasons why this was such a perfect fit.
Wombat is the real deal, their metrics are astonishing - but from an ecosystem perspective they fit what I always dreamt of from the start.
Wombat has game development (Wombat Dungeon Master ++), Game Distribution (Through the Wombat app), Game publishing (Through Wombat app + more), Digital Asset trading (AtomicHub) and now a massive social layer added in when they acquired Wasder.
The capability of a fully working, state of the art technical ecosystem like this is simply unrivaled in Web3, and their metrics reflect it.
Its a system perfect for players to both discover and interact with games AND people, and I love where we will go with it.
🌟🎮 Exciting news! Our parent company, @Spielworks , has made a significant move by acquiring @WasderGG, an amazing social gaming platform with over 1.5M+ downloads! 🚀🤝
What this means for YOU:
🌍 Join a global gaming community
🏆 Earn rewards for YOUR amazing participation
🎉 Experience fun and inclusive vibes for everyone
We're thrilled to further enrich our gaming ecosystem by welcoming everyone from Wasder 🎮🌐
Check out Wasder: wasder.gg

Hardest pill to swallow early in a trading career. Great advice imo. Thank you @BlocksNThoughts 🤝

We understand that silence can be scary, but that does not mean we are not working.

People think it's because of metamask.
Truth is, it's because of carelessness.
Here's how he could have simply avoided this 👇
1️⃣ Hardware wallet
MetaMask itself is actually as safe as any other hot wallet.
They don't store your keys but YOU DO.
And yet... It's still no hardware wallet.
Even when you connect yourself to a scammy website, your hardware wallet will still protect you and only approve another transaction if pressed by physical buttons.
The good part?
You can still use metamask or Rabby or... as an interface gateway when you connect your hardware wallet (if you truly want to).
Strong recommendations are:
@Ledger
@KeystoneWallet
2️⃣ Permission revoker.
When using dapps like Uniswap or OpenSea you have to grant them permission to spend your tokens and NFTs.
This is called a token approval.
If you don't revoke these approvals, the dapp can spend your tokens forever.
@RevokeCash is a tool that revokes these permissions.
3️⃣ Contract scanner.
I'm not a code expert. It's highly likely you are not either.
Use @DeDotFi their contract scanner tool to get a quick rundown when you look up new investments or tokens.
Dubious contract bugs or permissions can be seen here.
4️⃣ Common sense
It's likely here where Mark Cuban went wrong.
• Bookmark your exchanges
• Double check every transaction
• Don't buy 1-day old tokens
• Don't use the same password for everything
• Use 2FA
You would be surprised how many people do not use any form of additional protection.
Some even store down their seed phrases on their pc.
Seems harmless at first untill you get hacked.
Even when you are hacked, when you have a hardware wallet and there's no seed phrase written down, they can't get your hands on it.
Mark Cuban was likely careless somewhere here (to much money I guess).
5️⃣ Web3 antivirus
What if you still end up making a mistake?
It's here where you always get a safety net.
It's not bullet proof (nothing is) but the good folks or @interlockweb3 have made a Web3 antivirus (chrome extention) that gives you another layer of protection when you interact or approve web3 stuff.
Common sense will do a lot but having that "just in case" antivirus running for that 1% human error will do a lot.

That's it ✅
I know I made a similar post a while ago but I wanted to emphasize the importance again since even billionaires can make mistakes as you can see.
So can we all if you are not careful.

Where next cycles legends are made
Nice sextuple top.
Mindblowing $LINK range.
We'll all marvel at this in the future.
Really interesting concept but the reality is that then people would optimize their best content for end of week when they know people have saved their golden likes and need to use them before weeks end.
Still will be gamed in the long run but not a bad proposal for improvement
What idea sounds weird today -- but you think will be obvious 5 years from now?
Here's mine: One tiny button could 10x social media.
Let me explain...
Imagine this economy:
• If someone sold microwave meals -- you can only pay $1
• If someone sold Michelin star food -- you can only pay $1
The economy would largely be microwave meals.
This is social media in 2023.
• If someone makes a sarcastic reply on Twitter -- you pay with 1 like.
• If someone writes a 4,000-word essay that changes your life -- you pay with 1 like.
The creator only has $1 feedback loops. They never get $1000 feedback loops.
As a result, social media newsfeeds look more like a microwave meal section of a supermarket than a Michelin-star restaurant.
One button to fix this problem: The Golden Like.
Each user has one golden like per week.
They use it to reward their favorite piece of content they've found on the platform.
This would reward creators for optimizing for depth (quality) over just width (reach and clickbait).
I would love to judge the performance of my content not on the number of likes -- but on the number of golden likes.
-----
1. With time, users could customize their algorithms. I would love an algo that filters for the highest ratio of Golden Likes.
2. You could opt in for notifications for your friend's golden likes. Discover the best piece of content they've found in the last 7 days.
"activists" will complain about bitcoin energy usage or fossil fuel consumption then go pay $12K+ for their family to stay at Disney World or go to a vegas show in the giant light eyeball.

Rewatching Lord of the Rings one thing that stands out to me now is how SINCERE the dialogue is. There's no irony to it or zingers to alleviate the tension. Everything is said with full weight and honesty.
