Was listening to a podcast when the guest started talking about the star of Amityville: A New Generation, saying he doesn't get enough credit, wondering what else he's done, but they didn't check to see that Ross Partridge was just in a little horror movie called Blood & Rust.

This administration continues to protect pedophiles by burying the Epstein Files and covering up the truth—so it’s no surprise that they’re now defending a disgusting ad attacking a child rape survivor. The GOP has become the Pedophile Protection Party.
What kind of weird hypnosis happened where this is out of the news cycle? A consensual White House affair in the 1990s was a main topic for years, and this gets nothing? Do we even have a fourth branch anymore?

You know what should “immediately change”, President Trump? Funding SNAP and protecting Medicaid so families can put food on the table and people can access healthcare.

A party with multiple fugitives and Ken Paxton is still the sketchiest guy in the room.
Replying to @efindell
In Dubai, Paxton and his girlfriend watched fireworks at a party with two fugitives who had failed to return to the U.S. to face federal healthcare fraud charges. One of them, Anosh Ahmed, had donated $190,000 to Paxton.

Great piece on the Patriots tight end contributions from Chris here. Plus: a Proust reference!
The Patriots injury report was longer than a Proust novel. They had just four healthy WRs, and TreVeyon Henderson sustained an early ankle injury. Where would the offensive production come from? And who would help slow Maxx Crosby?
Enter the tight ends.

1) Congrats to A’ja Wilson.
2) Caitlin Clark should play in Europe. Better refs, freer flow. She’d be happy, most WNBA fans would be happy, and her most toxic fans would direct their ire elsewhere.
I can’t tell if she’s wearing her cross necklace here, but she usually leaves it home when she knows she’ll be lying more than usual.
Just saw this at the movies and, well, @7imberwolf put it best. Terribly disappointing. Also: Typical A.I. fare in that there’s no real plot or ending.
Dear @fanta I will never buy another Fanta product again due to your use of AI.
If you’re too cheap to hire VFX artists to make a real ad, then your product must also be cheap and not worth buying.
This is a cool piece. Nice work, Meghan!
Efton Chism III’s parents, Kristy and Efton II, circled the Oct. 4 Bills game as a trip to make from their Washington State home. It’s not easy for them to get to every Patriots game.
They had no idea what they were in for. I spoke with them this week:

One of my favorite monster movies ever. A great blend of suspense and self-aware silliness.
TODAY, MONDAY SEPT 28: TREMORS (1990) at @RegalMovies across the USA!
This is my third of five picks for Regal’s Month of Masterpieces. When asked which films I’d love to see back the big screen again, I thought about great crowdpleasers and Ron Underwood’s monster movie gem Tremors went straight on the list.
I was lucky enough to see it on its first release in 1990, and it knocked me out. Years later I discovered Simon Pegg was a fan too. It was one of the films we watched again before writing Shaun of the Dead.
For me, it’s a pitch-perfect mix of action, comedy and horror. The build-up is delicious, but what really makes it work is the ensemble. You get to know these people and enjoy watching them figure out how to deal with a problem unlike any they’ve faced before. And because you care about them, every close call counts.
Starring the late great Fred Ward and Kevin Bacon as our unlikely heroes, and the scene stealing Michael Gross and Reba McEntire as the lock and loaded Gummers, it’s such a fun one.
If you’ve never seen it, I won’t say another word about the monster fun that’s coming. If you’ve seen it before, I think you’ll agree it’s one of the best comedy horror films ever made, and an absolute blast on a big screen. Enjoy it today.
If you are in NYC, you could even make the 745pm show and then ‘Scott Pilgrim’ at the @paristheaternyc at 10PM! Maybe see you there!
Just two more of my picks to come:
Sept 29 — MAD MAX 2 (THE ROAD WARRIOR) (1981)
Sept 30 — THE GETAWAY (1972)
Tickets are $7.99. Check your nearest participating @RegalMovies. See you at the movies!
In terms of entertaining fans and exceeding expectations, the 2026 Patriots are becoming the anti-2025 version.
