Alonso was the problem
Button was the problem
Rosberg was the problem
Russell was the problem
And now Leclerc is the problem
Funny how that works isn't it
Lewis : « Before I joined this team, when I was in Mercedes, I watched and witnessed the back-and-forth between Charles and Carlos. Several races where they were battling so much that the person ahead just pulled away, and they had the pace to actually win the race.
It’s one thing when that's happening in fourth and fifth as opposed to first and second, and you lose the win. That's significant. The guy is 28 years old, so I don't think it's an age thing. I think it's a mentality thing. It's like do or die. Like, either I win, or none of us do, and it shouldn't be that. It should be, us having got that one-two, which is still a good feeling.
At Silverstone, I could have gone all kamikaze on him and taken him off and lost us the the win, but instead a one-two was there, and I think we got a one-two, or was it a one-three? I'm happy for the team to have experienced that. I'm hopeful we'll work towards a better place in the future. »

The dishonesty shown by certain people when claiming that Leclerc is not a team player is quite astonishing. You clearly have a short memory. Perhaps you need to be reminded of certain things that have happened within this team since 2019. Then we can talk.
- 2019:
🇦🇺 FIRST RACE with Ferrari, and he’s already given an order: Charles is not allowed to attack Seb. He follows the team orders.
🇨🇳 Charles is told to let Seb through just as he’s starting to find his pace. Charles follows the team orders.
🇸🇬 Ferrari simply decides to steal the win from Charles and hand it to Seb with an undercut. And even then, Charles says he won’t do anything and won’t attack Seb.
🇷🇺 The initial plan was for Charles (starting from pole) to give Seb (P3) a tow so he could get past Hamilton/Leclerc, and then for Seb to give the position back to Charles. Charles followed every single team order.
- 2022:
🇬🇧 Ferrari steals another win from him and hands it to his teammate, and yet Charles is still thinking about the team and Carlos in his radio after the race.
- 2023:
🇸🇬 Ferrari simply sacrifices Leclerc to benefit Carlos. And Charles deliberately makes a strategic decision that day to help Carlos win.
- 2024:
🇦🇺 Charles and Carlos are P1 and P2, both fighting for the win, when Ferrari gives Charles a team order. Charles follows it.
🇺🇸 All of a sudden, Charles starts experiencing a loss of tyre performance. Instead of defending his position, he tells the team over the radio that he’ll let Carlos through.
- 2025
🇺🇸 Ferrari gives Charles a team order to let Lewis through. Charles follows it.
🇦🇿 Another team order from Ferrari to let Lewis through. Charles follows it once again.
- 2026
🇪🇸 Even though Lewis has just pitted and the two drivers are on completely different strategies, Charles says over the radio that he’ll let Lewis through (for the win).
If you still have doubts about the kind of team player Charles is, then you’re the problem. Ever since he joined Ferrari, he has consistently put the team before himself. Yesterday, there simply were no team orders. Both drivers were free to race each other.

The only option to fix the Lewis v Charles issues is either Lewis shuts the fuck up, or Ollie gets brought up and Lewis leaves.
Full stop.
🔴 Charles has reportedly had a preferential equity clause (covering sporting and technical matters) in his contract since 2020.
This would prevent the establishment of written rules of engagement , hierarchy, etc…

“marz what do u think abt the liam lawson situation” i don’t think about it. i’m ignoring it until i see the ts*lov seat confirmation graphic from the official f1 account and then i will start a hatewatch to put 2026 to shame.

it would be so funny if (God forbid) Liam’s out of seat next year and VCARB dropped from its current standings… the hatewatch is going to hit like crack

im so pissed off because charles spent the entirety of 2025 defending him when everyone was calling him washed up for his abysmal performance and yet now he trashes leclerc (and the team!) to anyone who will listen

I get that this year was new regulations and all but I think it’s unfair people like Doohan and Dunne have missed out on a seat next season.
F1 is a cruel sport, and if you don’t have the money, the sponsors, or come from a big country you’re fucked essentially
I think that drivers like Lewis Hamilton, like Alonso, like Stroll, like Bottas should retire…
There’s so many seats being held up by people staying in their seats for too long. And then you run into issues where talented people like Liam go without a seat…. (Hopefully not)
