Update to my Top 24 favourite Batman comics.
Small changes really, I might’ve revisited one or two of these stories since my last ranking.
How long do you think they’ll keep up the “DCU is dead” gimmick?
Because the entire cinematic universe model could collapse but I bet they keep making Superman movies. As it stands, the DCU won’t die until David Corenswet hangs up the cape.
Tbf some of them have worked well in some stories in varying combinations.
But I think it comes down less to the characters themselves and more the ecosystem of the Batfamily.
Modern Batfam serves the Batfam as a concept with these super defined familial roles and how they

The DCEU is ending soon so here's a thread of some tidbits, BTS issues, and facts I remember about it from the past decade
Not in any particular order 🧵
I’ve been rereading Bruce Wayne Murderer/Fugitive recently and this reminds me of some of the reviews I read on LOCG where the grievances stem from refusing to shut up and read the next issue or being completely unaware of the fact they are in the midst of an arc.
the audacity to say this while you’re almost 4 years into this universe and you’ve barely anything connectivity wise to show for it AND you started it with superman so why the fuck would anybody think we’d be getting anything other than batman and wonder woman first to tell a linear but wider story? are we good?

All I’ll say is you guys make it really easy for Reeves fans to act that way.
I been saying this, and I love the reeves verse for what it offers, but the worst thing about them is they try to have this image of intellectual superiority when it comes to that film so much so that saying grass is green Batman opinions labels you as a “fantastical chud” 😭
Genuinely they can’t fathom the idea of getting good writing with depth + fantastical/supernatural elements (which by the way if done right only enhance the writing, Clayface being the most recent example of this)
They think you can only have one or the other, it’s the most braindead false dichotomy I’ve seen in the space
Someone tweeted about how the way people talk about Obsession it’s as if it’s their first movie.
