Reminder to MA Ind voters. Despise @realDonaldTrump if it gives you mental relief. It’s okay. But he is not the source of MA’s numerous challenges. It’s years of reckless & incompetent policy & ideology of @MassDems, all “Progressives” now. Healy, Wu, Campbell, Galvin, Mariano, Spilka et al. These people are nuts. And much as I liked Charlie Baker…he didn’t do enough (with wild popularity) to get more Moderates into state leadership. Now we’re left with full-blown Progressive nuts. MA Democrat = Progressive Progressive = Socialist. Not sure a welfare state like MA can get more socialist than we already are. Progressive = Take from people working their arses off (middle & upper middle class) and give to people who…likely not working as hard. Tax / fee & spend, baby. Progressive = Mind numbingly dangerous on illegal immigration. Progressive = Scarily weak on law & order. Progressive = See all through color, gender etc. when all normal people stopped doing that 40 years ago. Progressive = No accountability. Always someone else’s fault. Forced equity. Progressive = Climate obsession over any balanced approach to energy. F your energy bills, we know best. Progressive = “No Kings.” Will of the people prevails…unless we’re talking Gov transparency in MA. Progressive = Voter integrity? ‘Just trust us. It’s under control. You’re a racist for even suggesting ID is a good idea.’ Progressive = Quite literally insane on gender & sexuality issues. (I’m prob center or just left of center on most social issues. These nuts are 100 miles left of me). Many “smart” Ind voters can’t make it through an hour without full anxiety over Trump’s existence. Hard to watch actually. But some of these same Dem voters are also frightened by Progressives. They unfortunately helped create that beast for years, and they know it. MA’s survival & possible resurgence as a state will come down to 2 voting blocks. 1. Will enough historically MA Dem voting Independents be able to separate their Trump obsession from core MA issues? 2. Will enough historically disengaged age 25-40 MA citizens actually turn out to vote with common sense to save the state they love? Both blocks rely exclusively on MA moderate conservative candidates (all of them, despite Maura’s blatherings) inspiring a huge turnout in favor of common sense.
