A bizarre ending to Primary Day in Niagara Falls. My colleague @benphoto716 had his camera grabbed by Mayor Robert Restaino after he asked how he'd grade the city. Restaino, the incumbent is being challenged by Glen Choolokian and Demetreus Nix for the Democratic line. @WGRZ

To better support those hit hardest by the storm we are asking that you respect the travel ban and that Byron Brown resign.

It's sad that the CE has to carry water for the failures at the levels above and below the county. And we need to be asking why. There is a limit to the resources available at any one level of government. We need our leaders prepared before this happens again.

@MayorByronBrown’s social media comms before and throughout the storm. There’s ONE statement regarding the upcoming weather, “I encourage everyone to complete their holiday and personal errands by Thursday before the harsh weather is expected to impact our region.”

Does this sound like taking accountability in leadership or the Mayor trying to cover his own ass by shifting the blame?

I spoke with @GovKathyHochul to get an update on the extreme winter weather hitting New York. We stand ready to make sure they have the resources they need to get through this. My heart is with those who lost loved ones this holiday weekend. You are in my and Jill’s prayers.

I am sad to announce that our City has lost at least 20 members of our community due to the winter storm. Everyone please continue to be safe.

@elonmusk - why are my tweets, on my own feed, out of order?

Anyone else in tech constantly simultaneously amazed and enraged at tech? I started using a computer 30+ years ago at age 2. I studied computer engineering with the goal of understand everything about how a computer works.

I’m not losing my enthusiasm for tech. As much as I’m constantly frustrated, I’m also constantly amazed. A great example: ai art is amazing, but iOS autocorrect fucking sucks. My first tweet of this thread has a spelling mistake that infuriates me, and iOS autocorrect is to blame

Am I just getting old and this is how all old people feel, or has the industry taken a step backwards? I don’t know, but think probably my age has something to do with the attitude.
