You can buy Google
You can't buy Waymo
Daybreak splits a stock into its individual businesses
We let you back the part you actually believe in
Daybreak (@daybreak_fi — ALL15) splits tokenized stocks into their underlying business lines, so you can trade Starlink inside SpaceX or Youtube inside Alphabet.
Companies are portfolios of businesses. Now you can trade them that way.
Congrats on the launch @ademplabbers and @srhhadron
TL:DR
Many neoclouds are already in 4-10 year deals servicing debt at ~11-15% backstopped by marked-up equity. New debt access is getting entirely shut
Hyperscalers like AWS, GCP and teams like xAI will see a huge compounding advantage from access to cheaper debt
Security risks make this moat stronger, as cyberattacks go up, buyers will flee from neo-clouds to companies with the security budget to keep them safe
Replying to @chamath
Pretty much.
As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers.
SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue.
That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.
$SPCX REPORTED Q3 EARNINGS
- Revenue: $14.6B (+161% YoY)
- EPS: $0.35
Segment Revenue:
$XAI: $7.6B (+830% YoY)
$LINK: $5.2B (+69% YoY)
$LAUNCH: $1.8B (+6% YoY)
Trade each segment as a partial on @daybreak_fi
Translation: people want exposure to the parts of a company, not the whole thing
Binaries are great but they force a threshold bet (most views aren’t “above X”), expire every filing so you pay a fee for re-rolls, and split liquidity across strikes and expiries
Daybreak Partials offer the same thesis with no strike, no expiry, one pool per segment. Trade what the market thinks a business unit is worth

That's the basic idea
- 1 GOOGx mints 100 units of each partial (10Q segments create partials, not product only). You permissionlessly mint back and forth
- Partials trade on news, but if the set drifts, you can arb with mint/redeem. If a single unit is mispriced, you can mint and arb, but need to hold inventory to redeem later
- Dividents are passed back to the equity so the market values of each partial decide how the dividends are claimed
- If one of them gets spun out, holders of the partial get airdropped the new tokenised equity, and the other partials redeem back to the new stub

Now I can own the Jordans line instead of Nike.

The beauty of crypto alchemy is that you can create entirely new ways to speculate.
In our case, you can now long YouTube or Google Cloud instead of Google as a whole.

We’re starting with SpaceX and Alphabet, and opening up the first $200k for mints of each
Meta and Amazon coming soon. You can request partials on our website
Daybreak splits equities into synthetic tracking stocks called partials
1. Deposit 1 tokenized share (powered by @xStocksFI and @Backpack) to mint a set of 100 of each partial
2. Return a complete set to redeem the underlying anytime
This mechanism pegs the set to the value of the equity, while secondary markets price each partial individually, creating what we call bounded sentiment markets
