Scaling past a trillion parameters requires inference engineers to solve 3 issues: - Width: Routing between hundreds of sparse experts - Depth: Mixing global and local linear attention - Length: Processing 1M-token sequences I asked Ali and Bryce to draw it up. They delivered.

Today we are releasing JST-2, the world's first full-stack physics-native world foundation model. Many world models learn in pixel/video space. We went back to first principles and built the entire model stack in 3D. Generate a 3D scene in seconds and expand it in real time. Create characters with motion built in, all through one general architecture.

1/4 Today, we’re releasing Mercury 3. Mercury 3 is by far our most powerful model and the most intelligent diffusion LLM ever released. It outperforms GPT-6 Luna and Haiku 5.5 on quality while running at 1000+ tok/sec.

Introducing SKY-001, the first Engineering World Model. On CAD and BIM tasks, it beats GPT-6 Astra and every frontier model we tested: -> 51-125x faster - > 150-210x cheaper -> Higher IOU than all frontier models SKY-001 lets you dream a physical object before you build it. 18 months of work. Built by the team out of Maluuba's deep learning lab (acq. by @MSRResearch). The first ‘AI General Engineer’ will be the backbone for Autonomous Manufacturing.

Introducing Optimus-1, the first swarm harness for autonomous research. Generally available in ArkenOS, starting now. Optimus-1 lets ArkenOS spawn a swarm that runs the entire discovery loop on hard research problems autonomously. The harness samples the hypothesis space in parallel and works the tails of the distribution, chasing every anomaly until it resolves into an artifact or a discovery. We want every researcher to have a lab of their own, and to see how far their curiosity can go. Unlike coding agents, Optimus-1 is designed for long-horizon discovery, where most branches fail, and the hard part is knowing which result to believe. It keeps what replicates and keeps pushing past the edge of what's known. We're still early, but ArkenOS is helping hundreds of teams, from RL environments and data labs to frontier research groups, scale the alpha in their core research. If you're working on a hard research problem and want to try it, my DMs are open. I'd love to hear what you'd point it at.

i want new ways to look at lots of trajectories, currently exploring: - treemap laid out by groupings (metadata or computed) - colored by classification of success (or grouping) - sized by length - zoom in smoothly to see turns as beads on a string - extremely fast transcript viewer (instant for many thousands of msgs) - switch to 3d to see the forrest for the trees - transition to semantic (UMAP) layout - color by semantic clustering

I sat down with Ali Ansari (@aliansarinik), the 25-year-old solo founder and CEO of @micro1_ai, which just passed $1B in ARR. It all began when Ali moved from Iran to the U.S. at age nine without speaking English, going from flipping textbooks to building one of the fastest-growing AI data companies today. * Are experts training their replacements? * How to teach AI subjective judgment * Knowledge isn't static; we'll always need new data to align AI * The robotics and real world data bottleneck * The high stakes of selling training data to China * Whether the AI economy can justify the infrastructure build-out TIMESTAMPS 00:00 Intro 02:56 Growing up in Iran and moving to America 07:37 From eBay to textbook flipping 13:54 Building micro1 and the pivot to training data 19:39 Why internet data is the worst data 22:41 Are experts training their replacements? 29:27 Creativity, alignment, and subjective judgment 36:01 The robotics data bottleneck 45:11 Ordinary vs. Extraordinary Training Data 43:56 America selling data to China 53:56 $1B in 2.5 years 56:53 Can the AI economy deliver?

I have to admit, watched this a few times, especially to the end:) the creativity in the prompting and the model is awesome to see
Argon has this amazing natural understanding of the world. It can do so many things from first principles. Here's a pelican riding a bike, using fourier epicycles. Video made by Argon. Time-synced Lyria 3.5 music prompted by Argon.

An overview of how we think about context graphs at @harvey. Context graphs are a promising direction for improving agent quality and efficiency. We ran a series of experiments on Legal Agent Bench to evaluate how structured context improves online agent performance. For each LAB task we evaluated, an agent first reviews each document in its client matter and builds a graph of relevant entities and their relationships – e.g. parties, dates, draft vs. executed status, which versions belong to the same contract. To evaluate the impact of the graph, we compared the performance of an agent with and without the context graph, using LAB’s standard grading setup. Overall, the agent with the context graph improved rubric pass rate by up to 30% while reducing task cost by up to ~50%. In some cases the graph led to massive improvements. For example, in one firm-knowledge task, the agent was asked to find the firm’s most recent secured financing and retrieve the executed credit and security agreements as precedents for a new facility. An agent working from raw files attempted to search through several files sequentially, and looked at many different matters, but ultimately selected the wrong precedent (0% of rubric criteria). With the context graph, the same agent found the relevant matter and its executed agreements immediately (75% of rubric criteria). We’ll have more to share soon on how we’re building this into Harvey, along with more experiments like this one!

We want to support the mathematics community in turning progress in AI into deeper human understanding and new discoveries. To support that goal, we are contributing $5 million to a new Simons Foundation initiative to help mathematicians examine, understand, and build on results produced by AI, including the results we recently published. The funding, managed and awarded by the @SimonsFdn will support workshops, conferences, and special programs. We will also provide access to our models and computing resources to Simons Foundation-supported researchers.
