I got to know @rachnatshroff through our time together on the @ASCO Nominating Committee. She is a dynamo. How she manages to balance a successful career as a clinical trialist with her huge administrative roles alongside her volunteerism to groups like ASCO & @SWOG will never cease to amaze me -- all the while showing an unrelenting commitment to friends & family. I'll never forget the kindess Dr. Shroff extended to my junior faculty at @cityofhope - @gagan_brar24 & @DaniCastilloMD - after I requested she meet with them to provide external mentorship. The @ConquerCancerFd Endowed Young Investigator Award is on theme with the leadership & altriusm she has shown throughout her career. Let's all band together to support this: support.conquer.org/p2p/site…

Very excited to be joining AZ to tackle the critical question in AI for drug development: How can AI speed up, improve success rate, and improve availability of clinical trials without compromising our high safety and evidentiary standards?
AstraZeneca recruited physician scientist @dbittermanmd from her research lab within the AI in Medicine Program at Mass General Brigham & Dept of Radiation Oncology at the Brigham 2b VP of AI for Clinical Development. She'll be leading clinical AI across R&D at $AZN. Congrats!

Peer review is slow. Citations lag. But what if ground truth is just… time? ⏳ Proof of Time (PoT): forecast post-cutoff impact (cites/awards/SOTA/faculty moves) from frozen evidence. 📷Paper + data out now → arxiv.org/abs/2601.07606 Let time be the judge.

Proof of Time ⏳ let the future itself grade AI's scientific judgment. Freeze evidence at t₀ → predict citations, awards, SOTA shifts, faculty trajectories at t₁ → score when truth arrives. Offline sandbox + agent scaling inside huggingface.co/blog/shanchen…

(1/n) Large Reasoning Models (LRMs) enhance complex problem-solving by generating multi-path "Thinking Drafts." But how reliable are these drafts? Can we trust the intermediate reasoning steps and final conclusions, and effectively monitor or control them? 🤔
