My mom asked me to call her just so she could complain about her “shitty” day (my step-dad needs a new car), meanwhile I’m carrying the burden of the truth of the mess my brother is in because god forbid she worry about her children.

My bio dad never wished me a happy birthday this year and tomorrow my sister gets married but my invite must have gotten lost. The 17 year relationship I had with him must be over and I can’t help but think that it’s because I dated a black man. 😑
Interesting how a new meeting series is scheduled conveniently on a day I took off. I replied “tentative” and that I would try to hop on before I head to Iowa. I receive a response that I’m not expected to be there since I have vacation time.
I slept like shit last night and left the house with the intention of watching the Vikings, maybe a bit of the Lions and a nap.
Instead I came rolling in at home at 11:42 in the damn night. 🤦♀️
I’m gonna be so mad at myself tomorrow but I had so much fun today.
I’m at BDubs so much that some days I can’t eat their food. Thank you to one of my friends I sat in my car, with the windows down, on this beautiful day to eat a couple tacos and Mexican rice during my 11 hours of football viewing today.
Thank god I’m not a lifelong Vikings fan. I’d be completely that allegiance transfer that @ATXVegasFan posted the other day so fast.
