Think of it like the crypto market. Just like no one can tell you the exact percentage a piece of positive news will pump BTC (you just know it’s going to), Mirai works the exact same way. It's a market driven by supply, demand, and real-world vibes, not regular betting where odds are locked in. Here’s how the chart actually moves: ⚽ The Rivalry Factor: Barca doesn’t even have to be on the pitch for their chart to move. Real Madrid is their rival. If Real Madrid just got beaten by Atlético or Chelsea, that's an instant green candle for Barca because of the rivalry. If Madrid wins? Red candle for Barca. Vice versa. 🏥 In-Game Shocks: An injury to a key player during a match? Negative impact. A yellow or red card? Same thing. ⏱️ The Late-Goal Drama: A late goal can send massive shockwaves through the chart, especially when rivals are playing. 🔄 Ecosystem Flow: Just like people dumping ETH to buy SOL shifts prices, everything happening across the board affects the movement. That’s why the chart never sleeps, it’s always moving based on a million moving parts. And honestly, it’s only going to move way faster once more users jump in and drive up that demand and supply. Goals also have a huge impact on the chart especially for ongoing games. Check match pools section for some exciting stuff.

Mirai’s house is the counterparty. If you close a trade at a profit, your profit is credited to your Mirai account balance, and the same amount is recorded as a trading loss for the house. If you lose, the reverse applies. There is a real pooled house holding funds, but the vAMM itself is not a pool of real money. Its reserves are virtual numbers used to calculate prices and the effect of trades. When you withdraw, the funds must come from the relevant house wallet. For example, if you put up $100 in margin and close with a $20 profit, your account is credited with $120 before applicable closing fees. The $20 profit is a house obligation; it does not require another trader to have lost exactly $20 on the other side. That means payouts depend on the house having enough real funds to cover customer balances and profits.

If I win, who's actually paying me? That's the one question I ask before touching any crypto platform. I put it to the co-founder of Mirai, fully expecting "DYOR" and a quick exit. Instead, he walked me through where the money actually sits. That part surprised me. The house pays you. Not another trader. Mirai lets you go long or short on football club pairs — Arsenal vs Tottenham, with leverage. Goals, cards, injuries, transfers all move the price. And the price comes from a pricing engine that's just math, not money. It keeps getting pulled back to what's actually happening on the pitch. Where the money actually sits The real money sits in two places: a house wallet, and a separate insurance fund. - Win, and the house pays you. - Lose, and the house keeps it. The question that matters So the question I care about now is simple: can that house stay funded when a lot of people win at the same time? Right now it's testnet only, so no real money is at risk. Honestly, that's the best time to ask — before mainnet, not after. Respect to @debar_fx for the straight answer 🤝

If by “low demand” you mean few people trading on Mirai, the product can still operate. A club pair does not need a buyer and seller to be online at the same time: trades execute against a virtual automated market maker, or vAMM. The price can still move when nobody is trading. Mirai’s valuation engine updates club values using football events and a small continuous random walk. The pair’s trading price is periodically brought back to that underlying index. So a quiet market can still have price movement, although there will be less movement caused by traders themselves. For a trader, the main implications are: - Trading remains possible, subject to the platform’s normal balance, risk and pool-depth limits. A trade can still move the execution price, especially if it is large relative to the pool’s configured depth. - Low activity does not automatically make a club’s valuation fall. A lack of buyers is different from traders actively taking short positions. - Open positions remain exposed to price changes and can make a profit, incur a loss or be liquidated even during a quiet period.

Do you understand the pain of seeing another person build out your gated idea and gets support so easily while you’ve invested months of time and heavy resources. Maybe in another lifetime we’ll dominate for now I’ll be throwing the towel in as founder WatchFi💔 It was a crazy run learnt a lot, especially for a first product I might come back agin as a builder 😅 But for now I’ll love to appreciate my core team that helped me built this there are one of the best persons to work with in crypto: @TheSaviourEking @diviinesamuel @nanya_agu

A look at the just-concluded game between Getafe and Rayo. See how real-time match events, like yellow cards and late goals, impacted both clubs. The club pair (GET/RAY) traded at 1.08 USDC at the start of the game and ended at 0.86 USDC. See Market chart miraitrade.xyz/app/?view=exc…

Just checked @miraitrade_xyz to see how the market is going, and oh wow. MCI is being beaten by PSG and it affects their value against Arsenal. See the chart. My prediction is that it’ll be at 1.2 in the next 12hrs. Might as well place a short trade on it.
