Special message from ZANU PF Political Commissar Cde Munyaradzi Machacha *2026 SADC ANTI-SANCTIONS DAY SOLIDARITY STATEMENT BY ZANU PF NATIONAL POLITICAL COMMISSAR, CDE. M. MACHACHA* As we march towards, commemorating the 8th 25 October Anti-Sanctions Day, ZANU PF expresses its deep gratitude for the solidarity we continue to enjoy from the region and across the globe in demanding the immediate and unconditional removal of illegal sanctions against Zimbabwe. This lobby, sustained since the 39th SADC Heads of State Summit, reflects a consistent anti-colonial reclamation of Zimbabwe’s sovereign dignity. Two decades later after the devastating effects of the sanctions regime, Zimbabwe stands stronger, more confident and more united than ever before. The Anti-Sanctions Day has grown beyond a day of remembrance. It is now a celebration of resilience, resistance and the policy innovations that have placed Zimbabwe on an upward growth trajectory. Sanctions narrowed our access to capital and markets. They could not narrow our ambition. Zimbabweans looked inward, discovered their own capabilities and chose to build with their own hands. Throughout his tenure, His Excellency the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe and First Secretary of ZANU PF, Cde Dr E.D. Mnangagwa has provided exemplary stewardship by transforming a season of hardship to an indelible moment of achievement. Under President Mnangagwa, Zimbabwe’s GDP has grown from US$16 billion in 2017 to US$66 billion in 2026. GDP per capita has risen from US$1 200 to US$4 000. Exports, which stood at US$2 billion in 2017, now exceed US$20 billion. Self-reliance and hard work have ensured that the intended harm of sanctions have failed to break the resilient Zimbabwe's economic growth. Pamberi neZANU PF Phambili ngeZANU PF.

Zimbabwe must build on the progress achieved and ensure that ongoing development projects reach completion for the benefit of all citizens. NDS2 🇿🇼 ZIMBABWE EARNS US$100 MILLION THROUGH LITHIUM BENEFICIATION! Zimbabwe is proving that its mineral wealth is worth far more when processed locally. By converting lithium concentrate into lithium sulphate, the country has generated US$100 million, demonstrating the economic potential of value addition. The bigger opportunity? More local jobs, industrial growth, technology transfer, business opportunities for local suppliers and increased export earnings. The strategy is clear: Stop exporting raw potential. Build industries. Create jobs. Export value-added products. This is how Zimbabwe advances towards Vision 2030 — beneficiation, industrialisation and a stronger economy built on its own resources. 🇿🇼 Our minerals. Our industries. Our jobs. Our prosperity.

NDS2 🇿🇼🏏 MOSI-OA-TUNYA: WHERE SPORT MEETS TOURISM AND INVESTMENT! Victoria Falls is positioning itself for a new sporting chapter with the development of the Mosi-oa-Tunya International Cricket Stadium — a project with the potential to attract international cricket, boost tourism and create business opportunities for Zimbabweans. Beyond the boundary, the benefits could reach local hotels, restaurants, transport operators, tour guides, small businesses and young people seeking employment. Aligned with NDS2 (2026–2030) and the national vision for sustainable development, the project highlights how modern infrastructure can help diversify Zimbabwe’s economy and strengthen its global appeal. 🇿🇼 One stadium. More opportunities. A stronger tourism economy. #NDS2 #Vision2030 #ZimbabweIsOpenForBusiness #VictoriaFalls #SportsTourism
NDS2 🏏🇿🇼 MOSI-OA-TUNYA CRICKET STADIUM ENTERS FINAL CONSTRUCTION PHASE! ZIMBABWE-UK RELATIONS THAW Zimbabwe’s re-engagement drive continues to provide opportunities for rebuilding international relations and opening new avenues for economic cooperation. The recent visit by Speaker of Parliament Jacob Mudenda to the UK House of Commons and the acknowledgement he received during the visit represents a positive development in Zimbabwe’s international visibility and its pursuit of constructive relations with countries across the world. The engagement provides an opportunity to assess the changing dynamics of Zimbabwe–United Kingdom relations, particularly in the context of parliamentary diplomacy, political engagement and economic cooperation. The Mudenda visit offers a useful platform for demonstrating how institutional engagement can contribute to rebuilding confidence, broadening diplomatic contact and creating conditions for improved bilateral relations. It provides a positive signal that continued dialogue and engagement remain important instruments in advancing relations between the two countries. Parliamentary diplomacy signals renewed political engagement The reception of Advocate Mudenda at the House of Commons underscores the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in rebuilding relations between Zimbabwe and the United Kingdom. This development reinforces the principle that national interests are best advanced through constructive dialogue rather than prolonged political confrontation. The renewed parliamentary engagement provides an opportunity to move beyond historical differences in pursuit of areas of common interest. The development also offers a basis for arguing that Zimbabwe’s international standing should be assessed through its growing institutional engagements and diplomatic relationships, rather than through the positions of political opposition groups. The visit further illustrates the growing relevance of direct engagement between the two countries’ institutions and for Zimbabwe this is consistent with its foreign policy principle that the country is a friend to all and an enemy to none. Economic diplomacy is giving re-engagement practical meaning Zimbabwe’s re-engagement agenda is ultimately intended to produce economic benefits beyond formal diplomatic exchanges. The country’s approach to international relations places emphasis on economic diplomacy, whereby bilateral partnerships are used to attract investment. The resumption of direct Air Zimbabwe flights between Harare and London on 22 July 2026 provides a significant practical example of renewed connectivity between the two countries. The Mudenda visit therefore complements Zimbabwe’s broader economic diplomacy by strengthening the institutional relationships that can support commercial cooperation. Zimbabwe UK relations move beyond historical differences The improving atmosphere surrounding Zimbabwe–UK engagement provides an opportunity to reconsider the value of a relationship historically dominated by political disagreements. The Mudenda visit can be interpreted as an encouraging sign that parliamentary and institutional channels remain available for constructive engagement. The participation of members of Zimbabwe’s parliamentary delegation in meetings with British counterparts provides opportunities to exchange legislative experiences and sustain communication on issues of mutual interest. The development also reinforces the argument that Zimbabwe’s international relations should not be reduced to political contests involving the ruling party and opposition movements. For Zimbabwe, this is an opportunity to consolidate the gains of its re-engagement policy by maintaining consistent diplomatic communication, demonstrating the country's economic potential and pursuing partnerships that deliver mutual benefits. #FriendToAllEnemyToNone #EngagementReengagement
