Out today in @ImplementSci: The field of #ImpSci has not established criteria to evaluate quality of evidence for strategies. @ThirdCoastCFAR ISCI did a Delphi with IS, QI, HIV service experts to create standards. Our standards can be applied to HIV IS to make recommendations to practitioners on what strategies are most likely to be effective. Can also be adapted for other health domains. ISCI will soon release a tool for grading strategies and is developing a compendium of best evidence strategies from our systematic reviews (visit HIVimpsci.org). link.springer.com/article/10…

Much of the research on PrEP – a medication taken to prevent contracting #HIV – is centered on determinants for use.
In a paper published in AIDS and Behavior, @denhli worked with other researchers to instead assess PrEP implementation.
