That's literally the whole pitch. Qualifying answers are supposed to carry a receipt proving which model ran, so you can check without trusting the provider.

Interesting finds by @ValsAI after over 650 hours of model runtime. The same model can cost up to 2.3x more per task depending on the provider. Some providers also scored lower on specific task types, factors such as lower-precision weights behind the same model name can cause exactly that.
Because most buyers have no certainty that the promised model actually ran, or how it ran, they pick the option they trust even if it means paying a premium for it, while cheaper options may score just as well overall. It shows nicely how much people value trust.
That makes verification the main thing these cheaper options are missing, so the buyer knows what they get.
@Tensorcash solves this by attaching a proof of the model, and the precision it ran at, to every answer.
Does it matter where you run an open-weight model?
Today we are releasing the Inference Provider Index. It compares first and third-party open-weight models for quality on agentic tasks in finance, coding, and legal industries.
Unlike other inference benchmarks, we rerun it every two weeks to catch quality degradation, and we use agentic tasks, not single-turn multiple-choice questions. It covers over 650 hours of model runtime.

@bot do this for me too.
A lot of tensorcash:native talk is about how the work gets produced. This one's about who buys it.
People already spend real money on useful AI output via ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, API bills, the usual. If apps on @Tensorcash stretch that same budget further, users show up again even if they never care about the chain or the coin.
That's the @inferenceFI bet where providers fight for those jobs, tensorcash:native settles the service payments and network fees, and paid reuse is what can grow the network for reasons other than ticker chatter.
Their docs also sketch assets, trading and settlement on the same rails so the inference layer isn't even the whole story.

While generating the response, the miner records which model and precision it used, the prompt, output tokens, sampling settings and evidence from the model’s calculations. tensorcash.org/docs/schemas
The quick checks look for problems in that record. Full verification goes further where it runs the declared model on a GPU and compares its calculations with the submitted evidence. It uses statistical tests that account for differences between GPUs, rather than expecting every number to match perfectly. tensorcash.org/blog/how-to-r…
Each admitted model has its own registered identity and version, with mining difficulty adjusted for the compute involved. The verifier checks against that specific model. Another AI isn't being asked whether the answer looks convincing. tensorcash.org/blog/how-tens…
Hope this helps.

When $TAO and $KAS maxis start looking outside their own bags, YOU PAY ATTENTION 🚨
Seeing people who rarely talk about anything but $TAO and $KAS call $TSC a buy and forget play is interesting.
That crowd usually has conviction in what they hold, they’re not easily distracted by every new ticker that hits the timeline.
So when they start paying attention to something else and talking about holding it long term I’m curious.
Not calling it the next TAO
But when a project starts catching the attention of people who do their homework, it’s worth asking what they’re seeing.
Sometimes the most interesting signals come before the crowd catches on.
Who wants a deep dive into the fundamentals?!

The thesis inferenceFI was founded on: inference will trade like any other commodity.

One of the few projects I will hold for a long time.
I don't post much, but truly bullish this one.
Replying to @BraverCrypto
Yes, there is a lot of potential here that people still do not realize.
Imo @Tensorcash is extremely undervalued because the opportunity here is bigger than just AI mining.
My last post focused the tech checking which AI model actually ran, but that's only part of why I'm bullish.
What interests me is how much they're trying to build around providers selling compute to paying customers. The official docs also cover issuing assets and settling trades directly on the network, while the DEX is still in research.
And the part that matters to me is how that connects back to tensorcash:native. Payments and network fees give people reasons to use the coin, while deposits and collateral can keep some of it locked for a period of time. Meanwhile, issuance per block keeps stepping down, 40% emission cut in the 2nd week of Jan 2027. Oh, and don't forget @inferenceFI!
If they turn this into a market people repeatedly pay to use, I think today's valuation gives far too little credit to that outcome. That's why I think it's being underestimated, that and people still have bear market PTSD and think 25m-30m mcap is......High. The repricing will be humbling and cope inducing.
Made this video to explain the economics. Two tweets worth reading along with the docs for the broader financial side:
