🌿 MAKING spACE FOR COMMUNITY | AGRICULTURE, FOOD SYSTEMS & GCE 🌱 Our final workshop as part of Making spACE for Community is Agriculture, Food Systems, and GCE. Could agriculture be part of the solution to climate change and biodiversity loss? Join us for this engaging workshop exploring how we can create food systems that nourish our communities, restore ecosystems and support a more sustainable future. Facilitated by Gareth Conlon, educator and co-founder and director of Síolta Chroí, this workshop will explore regenerative agriculture, biodiversity and the role of Global Citizenship Education in building a fairer, more sustainable world. Drawing on the work of Síolta Chroí and its regenerative farm, this workshop will ask: what could a better food system look like, and how can we help make it happen? 🎟️ Register now: MakingspACEforCommunity.even… #MakingSpaceForCommunity #FoodSystems #RegenerativeAgriculture #GlobalCitizenshipEducation #GCE #Biodiversity #Sustainability

On #WorldFoodday it is important for Ireland to reflect on the very high % of food import and export. This isn't sustainable and is contributing to the #Climatecrisis globally and food insecurity in Ireland. We addressed this yesterday at our #Foodforthought training in @Sonairte where we explored the need for much more regenerative agriculture.

100%. Comparing Ireland and Denmark is certainly revealing. Same trade laws....similar climate etc and yet hugely different in terms of % of food import and export. #SDGs #Globalgoals #WorldFoodday
