Wabi 2.0 is live! personal agents are one person, one chat. but the parts of life that matter run on more than one person Wabi is an agent you use together. you talk to it, it does stuff, builds the apps you need, and anyone can join the thread - your partner, your best friend, the preschool moms groupchat school changes pickup time → Wabi updates the family calendar, everyone sees it. a show you’d both love → Wabi finds a night that works, gets the tickets. the trip everyone keeps talking about → Wabi picks the dates, builds the itinerary, books it go start a thread with your people 👇

AI slop isn't just tacky and uninspired. It can get you sued. Generating fake AI faces that resemble real people, or using someone's likeness without permission, is creating new legal and reputational risks for brands. So we built @mirrormirror_ai as part of a16z @speedrun, a marketplace where brands can digitally book real models and creators to generate AI content using their likeness, with their permission. Brands browse and book identity-verified talent, agree on usage rights, and generate content within those terms. Every approved image comes with a signed license and embedded provenance. We're seeing brands produce lookbooks and campaign visuals up to 10x faster, with up to 90% cost savings. Meanwhile, models and creators can earn additional income from their digital likeness without having to show up for another shoot. Everyone is racing to make AI generation faster, cheaper, and more realistic. But there's still a huge missing piece: how do you license the rights to the people appearing in AI-generated content at scale? That's why I'm excited about what we're building. Not just another AI generator, but the licensing and rights infrastructure for AI-generated content. mirrormirrorai.com/

Just another day at the office @usv -- but excited to announce our latest set of funds: $900M in new capital to back startups from inception to momentum, at a moment when many large markets are about to be transformed.

Huge congrats to @jsawadd and the team! Amazing to see the progress and proud to be a small backer.
90% of humans will be taken advantage of by agents. Give your agents a credit card? You’re asking for it. We raised a $35M Series A to build Baselayer. Keep your agents submissive.

I'm a chronic tinkerer of my own schedule and process. Recently it compounded into Nerve, the multiagent OS that runs my life AND Finch (Series B, 100+ employees). 3,000+ brain notes, 145 background jobs, agents running on Ralph loops.🧵

What if I told you that almost nothing in this actually changes whether an AI recommends your site? The game is won or lost in web search and re-ranking, and agents almost never see any of these items until they actually start implementing your product.

For 30 years, every merchant's security stack has been built around one goal: keep bots out. AI agents break that assumption. They're trying to buy — and merchant fraud systems can't tell the difference between a scalper and a customer's AI assistant. But merchants are already doing a lot of what's needed. GEO and LLM-optimized SEO are making products discoverable by agents. The real shift is in bot management — flipping from "block everything automated" to "let the right bots transact safely." Fraud platforms are already adapting. The merchants who get this right first will be where agents route purchases. @arjunb023 breaks it down with @dgmason at @AnonPlatform

Your agents suck when using the web because 85% of it doesn't have an API. Browserbase gives them everything they need to do work online. Leading AI companies like Ramp, Lovable, and Clay trust us to power agents that do real work on behalf of real people. With a single API key, your agent gets everything it needs to navigate the wild web: browsers, search, fetch, identity, a sandbox runtime, and model gateway. Stop waiting on integrations, build agents that can browse and interact with the web just like humans.

Love the thesis, but do the math first. VCX is trading at 16x its actual NAV. Amazon stock gives you *more* Anthropic exposure per dollar than VCX does right now. Microsoft gives you 7x more OpenAI exposure. You already have access to these companies. Buying VCX is just paying a 16x premium because you didn’t do research.
The Anthropic mini IPO is unfolding and you already missed a 15x return The stock is named VCX by Fundrise and just went up 1,500% in 5 days on the NYSE It’s a fund holding: - Anthropic = 21% - OpenAI = 10% - SpaceX = 5% - Databricks = 18% - Anduril = 7% $VCX has a NAV of $19 per share. This morning it just traded at $312. That means the market is valuing a $650 million fund at $5.4 billion 🤯 Investors are paying an 8x premium just to touch these companies. Why? Because the most important companies being built right now refuse to go public. And people are so desperate for exposure that they will pay almost anything to get it. The private markets are sitting on trillions in value that public investors have been locked out of and this stampede tells you everything about how much hype there will be around these IPOs. I hope this speeds things up

You should implement MPP. @stripe built something real that represents the future of how agents will transact. But it's worth understanding what it's actually demonstrating — and what it isn't.

The MPP model optimizes for the transaction. Pay per call, stateless, no relationship required. The real opportunity is what comes after: agent arrives → you recognize the org behind it → you offer a free trial → it becomes an enterprise customer. That chain doesn't start with a payment. It starts with identity.

MPP is the right infrastructure once you know who you're dealing with. The question that comes first: who does this agent belong to? If you're building for agent traffic — how are you thinking about that today? Full piece: x.com/dgmason/article/203433…
