🚨 Israeli strike destroys Gaza school educating 350 children
An overnight Israeli airstrike on a residential building in the Saftawi area of Jabaliya, northern Gaza, destroyed the nearby Al-Zahraa makeshift tent school, which provided free education to approximately 350 children, as well as the Little Smile Kindergarten. The strike also damaged a camp sheltering displaced Palestinian families.
“All the desks and educational tents were destroyed. Even the stationery we had for students and teachers was ruined,” Mousa Zaqout, a teacher, told Drop Site’s Abdel Qader Sabbah. He said the volunteer-run school provided free education to children from the camp and surrounding areas.
“There is no ceasefire or anything like that on the ground,” Zaqout added. “Every hour, every moment, there is bombing and destruction.”
Gaza’s Ministry of Education condemned the destruction of the two educational facilities, describing Israel’s continued targeting of schools as part of a systematic destruction of education in Gaza.

World Central Kitchen in Gaza abruptly terminated the contracts of 250 chefs without any prior notice.
Half of the kitchens providing food to displaced people have been closed, and the number of meals being served has been significantly reduced in recent weeks.
We don’t understand what is happening, or how this aid can be cut back when thousands of people in Gaza still depend on it to survive. What will happen to these people now?

We have no time for more meetings or promises. The city is collapsing before our eyes, winter is approaching, aid is shrinking, and needs are growing.
I just returned from the seashore. What I saw was terrifying. Tens of thousands of torn and worn-out tents stretch along the coast, many at risk of flooding as rain and storms approach. There is nowhere else for people to flee; only 28% of Gaza City remains accessible.
Children, women, patients, and elderly people are living in these tents. Cold, flooding, disease, and collapsing tents are a real threat to their lives. There are not enough tents or safe places, while aid continues to decrease instead of increase.
Gaza needs urgent aid before winter. We do not need more promises. We need real action, more aid, and safe shelter before it is too late. Time is running out.

BREAKING: 8 US Marines were injured when an Iranian cruise missile struck a US-contracted commercial ship they were aboard in the Strait of Hormuz two weeks ago, suffering smoke inhalation and possible traumatic brain injuries, per three US officials to NBC.
The Marines were on a US-contracted commercial vessel rather than a US Navy ship. The attack had not been previously reported.
The Pentagon quietly added 8 Marines to its wounded tally this week.

Today, I left the place where we are displaced, carrying my only hope: to return with medicine for my sick mother. I walked a long distance searching for the medicine while my mother had been waiting for me since the morning.
On the way, the vehicle was targeted. I fell to the ground in fear, then began crawling toward a place where I could try to find shelter. In that moment, the medicine fell from my hand in the middle of the crowded street. With so many people around, I could not find it.
In the end, I returned home… without the medicine.
My mother had been waiting for me since the morning. When I came back empty-handed, I didn’t know what to tell her.
There is no harder feeling than watching your sick mother need treatment, doing everything you possibly can to help her, and then returning to her without being able to bring the medicine she needs.
