A woman athlete is cruelly booed in the @WNBA because she dared to say….
Are you ready for this?
She said….. ‘I want to protect girls’
Protecting young girls is now denounced by liberals, many organizations and unfortunately many women too.
What happened to feminism?!

I can confirm that @wsusportsunion's solicitors have written to @parkrun to point out that they are breaking the law. We do NOT want parkrun to be 'less inclusive', we want fairness for women and for the female category to be protected.
This interview was shameful and a betrayal of what journalism is supposed to be about - sadly it is also pretty much standard in modern jounalism - especially in Ireland
In 2015 Elizabeth Holmes was worth $4.5 billion. She told CBS she didn't own a TV because she worked every waking hour.
When people questioned her blood tests, she had an answer ready.
In the video below, she says that if your invention gets questioned, "that's a sign you've actually done something transformative."
Her company Theranos claimed it could run hundreds of tests from one drop of blood. Walgreens put it in stores. Investors put in over $700 million. Henry Kissinger sat on her board.
The machines never worked. Most tests were secretly run on regular lab equipment. Patients got wrong results about cancer, HIV and pregnancies.
In 2022 she was convicted of fraud. She is serving more than 11 years in federal prison.
The questions she called a sign of success were the truth the whole time.
Was she a liar from the start, or a believer who couldn't admit she failed?
Save the video and follow for more stories about how the rich really made their money.

Thank goodness. Very happy to see the back of DEI here but ideally every where. Simply treat everyone equally. The Olympics is probably one of the most diverse environments imaginable. This shameful group brought in pseudoscience & destructive ideology

And there we have it, folks.
The Irishman who went viral for threatening a Jewish couple French supermarket was found guilty of condoning crimes against humanity and making antisemitic death threats.
This is what too many Irish people on this site, including an Irish Times, journalist, spread conspiracies about. This is what too many Irish people condoned, justified, and, in some cases, even lauded.
What is notable here, as Daniel says, is that the Irishman’s name has been revealed as Patrick — Paddy.
Will we see any apologies from the Irish people who lied that the Jewish victims were using ‘Paddy’ as an ‘anti-Irish slur’?
Sadly I just do not expect this. Because that would require an integrity that they simply do not possess.
Patrick, the Irish man who told a Jewish woman that he wish Hitler had finished the job, has been convicted of condoning crimes against humanity and of making death threats.
Remember all the people here accusing the Jewish victim of using the name Paddy as a slur, well now we know she was telling the truth the whole time. Assuming she was lying in the first place is clear racism against Jews. But unfortunately I highly doubt most of them will be doing any introspection on the matter.
A modern version of Austen's opening line of Pride and Prejudice, might be amended to include " and an solictor to draw up a premarital agreement to preserve such good fortune in the event of a divorce."
Replying to @MaryKenny4
The only opening line of any book I have read I can remember is the opening line of Pride and Prejudice:
" It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.."
That sentence alone carries so much social commentary.

🚨BREAKING: The world No. 1 in women's tennis, Aryna Sabalenka, unleashes a devastating and unfiltered statement: "It's vital to protect fairness. Biologically, men are much stronger than women. It's not fair. It's not equality. It's not women's sports if we let biological men compete against us."
She sides with Sophie Cunningham and sends a clear message: women are not going to keep staying silent while they steal our titles, podiums, and opportunities from us.

I’ve been saying this for years! Of course in Ireland with our 50% insured population, most of the NHS wannabe civil servants and Slainte-worshipping pols have insurance themselves! The system we should emulate
Is Germany.!
Among international experts on healthcare, the UK's system is viewed as being mediocre at best. It is highly centralised, giving patients little or no choice and therefore does not incorporate a competitive/incentivising dynamic.
That Ireland's Slaintecare apes the NHS has long been a cause for concern.

I enjoy reading the Guardians reminder to me of how many articles I have read for free ...they would never get a penny from me...
The Guardian is just loo paper these days that can’t be bothered to get basic facts rights. No one in sport is ever expected to have personal examinations 👇🏼… a total lie. If it was made clear no males, no matter how they identified in female sport, males would remain in male sport. The IOC will be doing sex screening pre LA, this is a cheek swab taking ten seconds done once in your whole life; because humans cannot change sex.
So is this further evidence of the tide turning against the luncay of gender ideology ?

The BBC has agreed to pay £400,000 to an award-winning Jewish documentary-maker who alleged she was subjected to antisemitism and pushed out of the corporation after October 7.
Lucie Kon, 57, spent 22 years at the BBC and worked on programmes including Panorama, Today, BBC Breakfast and Storyville. Films she commissioned or helped produce won an Oscar, Emmy and Bafta.
Kon says her treatment changed dramatically after the Hamas attacks. She alleges colleagues described Zionists like her as “evil”, argued that Israel should be called terrorist if Hamas was, and told her to consider what had driven Hamas to carry out the massacre.
When she proposed a documentary about October 7, Kon says she was told she was “too partial” to oversee it because she was Jewish.
She subsequently filed a formal grievance, but a BBC investigation rejected her complaint. Kon says she was then kept away from work for months. During a restructuring, her position was made redundant and she failed to secure the similar role replacing it.
She launched unfair-dismissal proceedings.
The BBC has now agreed substantial compensation, reported as £400,000, without admitting liability or accepting that Kon suffered antisemitism.
Kon says Jewish employees still at the corporation continue to face hostility and feel unable to identify openly as Jewish or Zionist.

The Finnish study proved that gender surgeries had no positive effects on people’s mental health and that the rate of suicide is higher after such treatments yet our government are paying to send people abroad for treatments. I hope people affected sue them for millions
The HSE is funding gender surgeries abroad, yet cannot say what procedures are being carried out.
Spending has risen from €21k in 2022 to over €333k in 2024.
No procedure-level data.
No cost breakdown.
No outcome tracking.
That is a failure of oversight.
Further questions submitted. The Minister must answer.
