VALUE ALERT — KONATA MUMPFIELD | LOS ANGELES #RamsNFL
I’m buying the opportunity before the targets arrive.
Trigger: On October 19, Sean McVay confirmed Davante Adams will miss 6–10 weeks with a ruptured hamstring. That’s a major opening in Los Angeles.
What I see: Mumpfield played 27 offensive snaps against Arizona, third among Rams receivers. Tutu Atwell was inactive. Mumpfield already had the WR3 workload before Adams’ extended absence was confirmed.
Cost: No verified current roster percentage or ADP.
Fantasy: I’m targeting Mumpfield in deep Redraft leagues and monitoring him in Dynasty. Increased targets are a projection, not a confirmed role change.
Verdict: I’m adding Mumpfield as a speculative waiver stash. Adams’ injury creates real opportunity. Now I want to see whether McVay gives him the targets.

DEMARIO DOUGLAS: HOT HAND!
I’m rolling with Pop Douglas tonight!
DEMARIO DOUGLAS: HOT HAND! 👀🏈
I’m rolling with Pop Douglas tonight!
Pats vs. Bears. Prime time. Romeo Doubs and Mack Hollins out. Dude has been blowing it up the past couple of games, and I see no reason he can’t keep it going. 🔥
Check out the stat line:
Weeks 1–4: Mostly 2–5 targets per game, limited production
Week 5: 5 targets, 65 yards, 2 TDs
Week 6: 8 targets, 86 yards, 1 TD
That’s 11 catches, 151 yards and 3 TDs over the last two weeks! BOOM! 💥
Douglas has settled into a key slot role with Drake Maye, and when this offense needs a quick, reliable outlet underneath, he’s getting the looks.
Chicago’s pass defense is middle of the pack, and I think Douglas has a path to plenty of opportunities tonight, including a real shot at finding the end zone.
I know what you’re thinking — Thursday night games can get weird. 😂 But I like the opportunity here.
My projection: 6–8 targets, 50+ yards and a real shot at a TD.
He’s a solid flex play, especially in deeper leagues and PPR formats. If you need a bye-week or injury fill-in, Pop may still be sitting on your waiver wire.
I’m all in on rolling him out tonight. Sometimes you just have to follow the targets and ride the momentum. 🏈🔥

🏈 WHAT I’M WATCHING FOR — TNF: Patriots @ Bears
• Caleb Williams / Luther Burden — Can they attack a Patriots secondary missing starting CB Carlton Davis plus two depth corners?
• DeMario Douglas — Is this breakout for real?
• Drake Maye — Can he overcome a banged-up offensive line?
• TreVeyon Henderson — Can he start taking more work from Rhamondre Stevenson?
• D’Andre Swift — What does the backfield look like with Kyle Monangai out?
Five things I’m watching closely tonight. 👀
What are you watching?

OLLIE GORDON II: GROUND AND POUND!
I’m all in on Ollie Gordon II this weekend.
OLLIE GORDON II: GROUND AND POUND! 👀🏈
I’m all in on Ollie Gordon II this weekend. 💪
Miami is leaning hard into the run game, the Jets’ run defense is average, and I think this sets up nicely for Gordon’s ground-and-pound style.
Since losing De’Von Achane, Gordon has helped power Miami’s rushing attack with 47 carries, 236 yards (5.0 YPC) and 3 TDs. Week 5 was his best performance yet: 18 carries, 88 yards and a TD, in a game where Miami ran it 34 times for 217 yards (6.4 YPC).
No reason to think this trend doesn’t continue. 📈
Miami is sitting at a dead-even 50/50 run-pass split on the year, but ranks as one of the most run-heavy teams in the league by pass rate over expected. And the game-by-game rushing numbers tell the story:
Week 1: 18 carries, 74 yards (4.1 YPC)
Week 2: 29 carries, 102 yards (3.5 YPC)
Week 3: 31 carries, 119 yards (3.8 YPC)
Week 4: 18 carries, 121 yards (6.7 YPC)
Week 5: 34 carries, 217 yards (6.4 YPC)
The volume and efficiency are trending up, especially with Gordon taking on a bigger role. That’s the kind of trend I want to see before buying into a running back.
I wrote earlier about Gordon and Jeff Hafley’s desire to get more physical. It starts with the run game, especially with the passing attack struggling. The Jets are giving up around 123 rushing yards per game, making this a favorable spot for Gordon to keep rolling.
My projection: 16–18 carries, 80+ yards and a solid shot at a TD.
You can still find Gordon on waivers in some guillotine leagues, and he might be worth swinging a trade for in redraft. But dynasty is where I’m really interested.
A lot of owners still see him as a short-term stopgap until Achane returns next season. They’re asking a lot, but if you’re trying to win now, sometimes you have to pay up for the opportunity in front of you.
I’m buying Ollie Gordon. If you’re competing for a championship, its time to make your move! 🔥🏈

QB ALERT — WEEK 7 #FantasyFootball
TWO QUARTERBACKS I REFUSE TO BENCH THIS WEEK.
I’ve been studying the defensive schemes, third-down tendencies and offensive matchups. I see two quarterbacks with legitimate QB1 overall upside this week.
C.J. STROUD | #HoustonTexans vs. GIANTS
The Giants love sending extra rushers. That’s exactly where I want Stroud.
He’s averaging 8.8 yards per attempt and generating +0.40 EPA per dropback against five or more rushers.
Nico Collins is back producing, giving Stroud a dangerous downfield weapon. Dalton Schultz gives him another option underneath.
I see a defense that could get punished for being aggressive.
My projection: 290–320 yards, 2–3 TDs | 20–27 Fantasy points.
BRYCE YOUNG | #Panthers vs. BUCCANEERS
I’m done treating Bryce like an ordinary streaming QB.
He’s averaging 309.8 passing yards per game, and Carolina’s passing offense is leading the NFL.
Tetairoa McMillan is becoming a legitimate WR1, while Jalen Coker adds another reliable weapon.
Tampa’s defensive looks create opportunities for Bryce to attack coverage and punish pressure.
I see a quarterback playing with confidence, weapons and an offensive system finally working in his favor.
My projection: 260–310 yards, 2–3 TDs | 19–25 Fantasy points.
VERDICT
I’m starting both. The matchups are too good and the ceiling is too high.
Bench them at your own risk.

These are the guys I'm trusting to deliver BIG this week...
My Week 7 MUST-STARTS:
1. Woody Marks
#CollegeFootball : In this game there are two players who are completely overlooked in Draft and boards and for me they are first-round talents and the numbers are starting to show:
1 Jackson Harris! Size, volume, and efficiency today he's already one of the most explosive WRs in the class and he's been rising way beyond what was expected! Clearly a huge potential Sleeper!
2 Jeremiah Cobb: RB from Auburn the system is completely killing him giving carries to Byron Brown instead of him! But even against Georgia he produced a lot and is one of the most efficient in the class! Needs to improve pass protection otherwise he's maybe a top 7 RB in the Class completely forgotten!

VALUE ALERT — CHRISTIAN KIRK | SAN FRANCISCO #49ers
I posted about him a few days ago. I’m doubling down.
Trigger: Yes, I already posted about Kirk, but I’m picking him up this week. Not just because he’s one of the last men standing in San Francisco’s receiving corps, but because he’s joining one of the best offenses in football — and he’s handled serious volume before.
What I see: Kirk caught 84 passes for 1,108 yards and 8 TDs in Jacksonville in 2022. He has 432 career receptions. This isn’t some unproven receiver. He’s a veteran who knows how to earn targets.
Cost: I got him for FREE off waivers.
Fantasy: With Deebo Samuel injured and Mike Evans dealing with health issues, I see a path to meaningful targets once Kirk is activated. His return isn’t guaranteed yet.
Verdict: I know McCaffrey and Kittle will absorb a huge share of the offense. But Kirk can still get his own opportunities, and that’s exactly what I’m targeting for my FLEX spot this week.
I got him for nothing. I don’t need him to be WR1. I need him to produce when his number gets called.

ROSCHON JOHNSON: MOMENTUM PLAY 👀🏈
Roschon Johnson getting another shot it at Thursday night. 💪
Kyle Monangai is officially OUT against the Patriots, handing Johnson another chance to build on two straight weeks of production in Ben Johnson’s run-heavy Bears offense.
📈 Last week vs. Atlanta:
13 carries, 51 yards and a TD
2 catches on 2 targets for 34 yards
85 total yards and a TD on 15 touches
Played 40% of Chicago’s offensive snaps
That’s production, opportunity and a trend worth watching.
Over the last two games with Monangai sidelined, Roschon has seen his role jump to roughly 40% of the offensive snaps. He’s turning that increased opportunity into actual fantasy production, and the coaching staff has expressed confidence in what he brings to the backfield.
D’Andre Swift is still the RB1, and I’m not suggesting Roschon is taking over that job. But with Monangai missing a third straight game, there’s room for Johnson to deliver another useful fantasy performance.
👀 THE FANTASY TAKEAWAY
Roschon is a legitimate deep-league FLEX option and short-term momentum play heading into TNF. Think 8–12 touches with touchdown upside, not a guaranteed RB2.
The fumble last week is worth monitoring, and game script could impact his workload. But the opportunity is real, the production is trending in the right direction, and he’s earned another look while Monangai is out.
Sometimes the best waiver plays aren’t the biggest names. They’re the guys whose opportunity is growing right in front of us.

VALUE ALERT — JAHAN DOTSON | #AtlantaFalcons
I’m 6–0 in multiple Fantasy leagues and 5–1 in another. I’m a contender, so I can afford to mine the waiver wire during bye weeks instead of chasing desperate starts. And I found this guy.
Trigger: 3 catches, 87 yards and a TD against Chicago.
What I see: 195 yards and 2 TDs over his last three games. His snap share jumped to 85% in Week 6. I’m seeing a real opportunity in Atlanta’s offense.
Cost: PPR ADP 507 (WR146). Almost free on draft day.
Fantasy: San Francisco is a tough Week 7 matchup. I’m not chasing an immediate breakout. I’m looking for a cheap WR with growing usage and FLEX upside.
Verdict: I’m buying the opportunity before the market catches up. That’s how I build depth on contender rosters.

Great analysis! I hadn't even noticed that
The theme of the SEC this year has been teams falling victim to the let down spot.
SEC teams are currently 2-7 against P4 opponents when coming off a ranked win based off these results…
Georgia beat #6 Alabama and then fell to Auburn at home
Ole Miss beat #7 LSU and then fell to #21 Florida on the road
Alabama beat #16 Miss State and then fell to #2 Georgia at home
Florida beat #4 Ole Miss and then fell to #25 Missouri on the road
Miss State beat #19 Missouri and then fell to #7 Alabama at home
Oklahoma beat #1 Texas and then fell to #15 Kentucky at home
Texas beat #14 Tennessee and then fell to rival Oklahoma in Dallas
Tennessee, Ole Miss, LSU, and Auburn will all be coming off a ranked win in Week 8. Do we see another team do the same?
