Exactly 😂 Tesla has no government contracts and President Trump ended federal incentives for electric vehicles. SpaceX contracts with the government are BOTH the best product AND the lowest price! Moreover government revenue will be less than 10% of SpaceX revenue this quarter and less then 5% a year from now. Happy to cancel any that the government doesn’t want. Just say the word!
Elon please send this January 1: Dear Senate & House Democrats, Many of you criticize my companies receiving federal contracts. I hereby offer to cancel. Please publish a list of each contract to cancel with any required agency consent, and we will cancel promptly. Sincerely, Elon Musk

Sometimes you have to wonder with humanity's myopia 👇
We're going through the largest technological transformation since the discovery of electricity. We are only in the 2nd inning, and we are debating whether this is a bubble or if it’s over. Are we serious? #AI

On today's stock market crash: As an investor, on days like today, you have to ask yourself one question: What fundamentally changed over the last 24 hours? The shift in the fundamental backdrop cannot be attributed solely to the Midterm Election results; markets had already largely priced in the outcome. So, what changed between yesterday and today? What is the fundamental reason for today's decline? One of the most likely catalysts is growing concern about a potential "ban" on AI, or at the very least, severe regulation of the industry. Over the last 24 hours, Democratic lawmakers have publicly called for restrictions on advanced AI development, including an outright "ban on artificial superintelligence." Frankly, an outright ban will not happen. Such a ban, if even possible to enforce, would effectively mean the US surrendering its position in the global AI race to China. Does this mean AI is "over" or today's stock market crash marks "the end?" Absolutely not. Rather, we believe we are witnessing a sudden shift in sentiment colliding with excessive levels of leverage, potentially triggering forced liquidations by several major institutional investors. Therefore, today's downturn is more technical than fundamental. This is not to discount the concerns around regulation, they are legitimate. But price action right now does not look orderly or rational. We are in the midst of the biggest technological revolution in human history. Zoom out and remain calm.

This is 💯 epic and I have no doubt it’ll become a book.
I've generated millions of dollars for the brands I've worked with. A month and a half ago, I started my own business. In month 1, we crossed $124k. In month 2, we doubled it. If you are marketing constrained, this is how you win.

I have this great idea for a drug called Regretamine. One dose and all your regrets are gone! Including, obviously, having taken Regretamine in the first place.

What’s happening in Poland? In a nutshell there are two political blocks: Law and Justice (PiS), led by Jarosław Kaczyński (nationalist, socially conservative, and skeptical of certain EU policies) who were in power from 2015 to 2023, and Donald Tusk’s Civic Coalition (and its partners), pro-Eu and have been in government since late 2023. PiS reformed the Constitutional Tribunal (court) which argues Polish law has precedence over some EU law. Tusk thinks all Polish law should be subordinate to EU law. Despite the Polish Constitution stating the Tribunal’s position is final, Tusk has been ignoring it. A Tusk appointed Judge on the Tribunal has - seemingly with Tusk’s support - suspended the President of the Tribunal and another PiS appointed judge, causing the present crisis. What is in fact behind this is that Donald Tusk is trying to make the upcoming 2027 elections all about the EU. He is ideologically committed to ensuring the EU dominates Poland while the PiS does not want to leave the EU, but want to retain some Polish autonomy. Tusk is trying to create a minor crisis and present it as the right’s fault and position himself as the guardian of Polish membership of the EU. It’s up to the Poles, but should they really trust a man who creates a crisis to help him make sure Poland becomes fully submissive to Brussels? I think not.

It’s almost incomprehensible how wide the distance is between someone who’s working at the frontier with AI and basically everyone else right now. The crazy thing is these lines are not converging, but only growing farther apart. If the curve of AI progress had leveled off, it would certainly have given most people and companies time to catch up or implement their workflows in a standardized way. The technology would have neutralized competitive advantage because everyone would be using it the same way. But what’s happened is the opposite. The curve of AI progress is basically going vertical right now, which means if you had codified your processes 3-6 months ago you’re likely already behind again. Now imagine most companies that kicked into gear a year ago and thought that they were done. Even further behind now. I’ve never seen a technology in my life and career that improves at this rate, which consequently means you need to upgrade your expectations at a similar rate. Our brains weren’t wired for this, and our organizational change management processes certainly weren’t either. With any form of recursive self improvement, things just get wilder. It’s a time when you will need to be constantly reevaluating the things that didn’t work just a couple months ago to see if they now can be solved. AI native companies certainly have a strong advantage due to this right now, so now it comes down to can the bigger companies keep up. Wild times.

I'm starting to sense a divide in the tech industry: - People thriving on autonomy who are reinventing how they work and what tools they use with AI: LOTS of work, but they're enjoying it and getting very efficient - People used to being mentored / trained / or simply told what to do and how. Frustrated with the lack of guidance from management on what to do with AI; also frustrated by seeing some of their peers thriving; increasingly bitter about AI and the state of the industry, as a whole Neither group seems to be aware that there's another group, or have empathy for the other group
