What brings people together is more important than what differences we have. If we focus on our universal humanity, then we can celebrate our differences. If we focus on our differences, then we deny our universal humanity. Let our humanity bring us together!

Thomas Sowell shares some overlooked facts about civilization that rarely make it into school textbooks. A reminder that history is far more complicated than what we’re often taught.

Alan Dershowitz was a loyal Democrat for 75 years. He started campaigning for them at 13, going through the streets with a loudspeaker. He’s 88 now – and says he’s done with the party. "Today we are seeing Ilhan Omar meeting with Hasan Piker," Alan tells me. "Hasan Piker! The man who said that America deserved 9/11... that is what Ilhan Omar embraces." @AlanDersh says when party leadership welcomed figures who despise American values, he reached a breaking point and had to walk away. "The Democrats have moved so far to the left," he says. "It used to be the extremes... but now it’s the center of the party, the core of the party." "I cannot associate with the party whose central components support and endorse these racists, bigots, anti-American, anti-Semite, anti-Judeo-Christian – every good thing that America stands for, the current leadership of the Democratic Party is opposed to." It wasn’t easy for him to leave the party he’d been loyal to all his life. "I am a reluctant Republican, but I am a staunch anti-Democrat. I want to see the Democratic Party defeated. I want to see the current Democratic Party destroyed," he insists. His new book "Why I Quit the Dems: And So Should You!" is available now. Did you leave your party – or did your party leave you?

Here is an important article published in the Archives of Sexual Behavior on detransition and PTSD. The authors suggest the some detransitioners may meet diagnostic criteria for #PTSD. They note the contribution of moral injury in the presentation of detransitioned patients, and discuss the circumstances that led the field to reduce caution around “false positives”. #detrans #medtwitter #medx link.springer.com/article/10…

Democrats will execute their plan to end democracy in America if they gain control
Kamala Harris: We need to revisit the electoral college, we need to revisit expanding the court, we need to revisit statehood for Puerto Rico and DC. James Talarico: Yeah, I think it’s great. I’m really happy that the Vice President is calling for these systemic political reforms.

Diversity just means “no white dudes.”
I’m proud to have the most talented, hardest-working cabinet in Virginia’s history. They are also the most diverse cabinet Virginia has ever seen. Every single one of our cabinet secretaries were selected because they’re the best of the best in their respective fields. They also bring invaluable perspectives from across the Commonwealth — from Danville, Hampton Roads, Richmond, NOVA, and more. I’m grateful to get to work with these incredibly dedicated, hard-working, and talented cabinet officials to serve the Commonwealth of Virginia. richmond.com/opinion/column/…

HOLY CR*P 🚨 3 mosques in Texas are funded, staffed and controlled directly by the government of Turkey “The imams inside them are Turkish government employees. Their sermons are state-approved. Western intelligence services have documented Turkey using identical institutions in other countries to surveil and intimidate political dissidents. That operation is running in Dallas, Houston, and Austin right now” “Turkey's President Erdoğa once described democracy as a train you ride until you reach your destination, and he has made clear that destination nation is an Islamist state. He has jailed journalists, purged judges, and directed his government's religious apparatus, the Diyanet, to operate globally. Now, 3 of those Diyanet mosques are in Texas. These aren't imams. They are foreign government operatives with a pulpit” “Additionally, the Turkish Islamist network in Texas includes private schools and a functioning Sharia court in Dallas. Its founding figure has publicly called for the Islamization of America, declaring, there's only one thing America needs, and that's Islam. This network has operated in close coordination with Muslim Brotherhood organizations in Dallas for years” I can’t believe it but I looked it up and this is all 100% true The 3 mosques are: - Dallas Diyanet Mosque in Richardson / DFW area), operated by the Turkish American Religious Foundation Dallas. Its website states it is “proudly affiliated with the Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Turkey (T.C. Diyanet Isleri Baskanligi) through Diyanet America.” Diyanet Houston Camii in Houston. Opened around late 2022 with Turkish Diyanet officials including a deputy president and consular staff present. It is also linked to TARF Houston - Austin Diyanet Mosque in the Austin area. Listed in the same reports; Turkish consular officials have visited it How is this allowed. How could Texas officials possibly overlook this? We need the government to suit these mosques down and deport everyone involved

Some of the MOST celebrated left-wing economic "scholars" of the past 15 years have their work revealed to be an error-ridden steaming pile of garbage. Capital in the 21st Century at one point was #1 on Amazon (though the massive tome saw readers stopping at page 26 according to Kindle stats) Now, it was already known that their core thesis of inherent wealth concentration in capitalism due to R (returns to capital) > G (economic growth) was FALSE... because R was not greater than G in the USA. But being wrong has never stopped the uniparty elite from creating fake authority to appeal to. I can't wait for all of academia's fake "social science" word vomit to be boiled alive by AI. What an incredible time to be alive.
Tyler Cowen: 'I am not even sure what to say at this point. We need a radical revaluation of this work, and of the associated policy arguments. More generally, this is only a single step in the story of how AI is going to revise economic science, and indeed past research more generally. As I stress in many of my recent talks, there will be significant gains and losses in status, with the losses often outweighing the gains. I see this as one of those cases.'

Globalist/communist as far as I can tell. I think it is notable that Pete's father is the one who translated Gramsci to English.
Leave California over a wealth tax? Tax them nationwide. Leave America? Get global leaders to impose the same tax. The strategy: leave taxpayers nowhere to escape the tax. And they wonder why many call them globalists.👇🏽

Elon Musk claims the mainstream media rarely gives positive coverage to people who don’t align with its political views. He argues that even something as extraordinary as saving a busload of orphans wouldn’t make the headlines. “Anything positive about someone who is not part of the far-left tribe will get no coverage.”

Germany’s climate targets: more than double spending The extra cost over fossil alternatives is €1.7 trillion by 2035, or €1,800 for every German, every year This comes on top of what would have been spent anyway And mainstream parties wonder why they’re losing Notes: AI illustration. Doubling: gross climate investment rises from €110bn a year in 2018–23 to €270–300bn a year in 2025–45. €1.7tn: extra investment over fossil alternatives, 2025–35, in 2024 euros, average of the Roadmap and KNDE scenarios. The study gives gross investment by period, but net investment only as a 2025–45 total, so the net figure by period is estimated here from the gross paths. Investment only: fuel savings and running costs aren’t counted. Prognos for KfW 2026: kfw.de/PDF/Download-Center/K…
