In a highly populous nationlike India, winning three consecutive elections- in 2014, 2019, and 2024, gave Narendra Modi and the BJP ample opportunity to fulfill the expectations of the people.
Over the past 12 years, he could have focused his attention on critical areas such as India’s overall education system, rising economy, modernization of the armed forces,
public services and foreign policy.
Instead of doing so, he has prioritized securing funds for his own party, and fostering the prosperity of a select few businessmen within his inner circle- showing complete disregard for the nation and its people.
Furthermore, he has installed individuals closely affiliated with the BJP and RSS at the helm of every government institution, a process of "saffronization"- which the public has never viewed favorably.
And now, the people have begun to speak out.

$INTC: -32.9%
$GOOGL: -14.5%
$AMZN: -10%
$SNDK: -15.8%
This comes after disappointing earnings from major tech companies raised fresh concerns about AI spending and future growth.
Intel: Its Q4 revenue guidance came in roughly $1.1 billion below investor expectations, triggering a massive selloff.
$150 BILLION of its market cap has been wiped out, its largest single day decline in over 40 years.
Google: Reported 25% yearly revenue growth, but its free cash flow turned negative by $9.1 billion against expectations of a breakeven.
Nearly $500 BILLION was wiped out from its market value in a single day, one of its biggest one day declines in history.
Amazon: AWS revenue grew 39%, its fastest growth in nearly 5 years. But the company plans to spend $220 billion in capital expenditure this year, largely on AI infrastructure, with even higher spending expected in 2027.
Its annual free cash flow swung from positive $14.8 billion to negative $42.4 billion in just 12 months causing more pressure.
SanDisk: Even after beating earnings expectations with 378% yearly revenue growth, investors remained cautious as its quarterly revenue growth slowed from 51% to 23%.
Investors are increasingly worried that Big Tech is spending hundreds of billions on AI infrastructure without generating enough cash to justify it.
These concerns are now spreading across the semiconductor sector.
