Such fun meeting composer Lillie Harris earlier today to chat about her latest works — and she even found time for a Dorico geek-out session with our in-house Music Editor Jeremy Aknai.🤓🎼 #NewMusic #Sheetmusic

It's really hard to believe but it was over 20 years ago that my entry into music tech as a profession was teaching Sibelius to educators. So it's great to see @dspreadbury and team work on making Dorico realize some long-standing dreams in music tech.

I just finished my first score in Dorico - as a longtime user of Sibelius and then MuseScore, I think this is the engraving experience I've been waiting for for years.

It goes without saying that I've been very grateful for the Dorico/ @nycgb partnership this year. The music I write now is different because of the possibilities this notation software gives. If anyone wants to ask me about it, I'll happily chat about the learning process!

Speaking of Dorico, please admire my unique USB dongle, which I have had since 2008 (!!!!). As you can tell, it was on a keyring until it fell apart, so I wrapped it in Sugru and stamped the Steinberg logo into it, what a dork I am – at Philadelphia, PA

I've been a longtime user of Sibelius and couldn't find a good resource on transitioning over to Dorico, so I thought I'd make my own to share. There are some great features including Condensing that you won't find anywhere else. youtu.be/nCmRZ_D4-W8 #composer #dorico
