🇻🇪 Starlink in Venezuela! 🇻🇪
BREAKING: Venezuela’s telecom regulator, Conatel, has officially authorized Starlink to provide satellite internet nationwide. 🇻🇪
After June’s earthquakes damaged phone and internet networks, Starlink provided more than 1,600 kits to support rescue teams, medical staff and humanitarian groups.
Now, this approval opens the door to connecting more communities, giving people more choice and new opportunities to learn, work and stay connected.

"The entirety of #Venezuela's repressive apparatus ... remains entirely intact," Alex Neve of the @UN Fact-Finding Mission on Venezuela told reporters in Geneva today. "Violations are occurring & absent real change, there is every reason to believe that will continue."

Delcy Rodríguez and Diosdado Cabello still run the same security apparatus that snatched Javier Oropeza in broad daylight a day after a court dismissed his case. The US government should treat this as a live human-rights issue and demand it stop.
The White House and immigration judges claim it's safe to go back to Venezuela. Yet this is what just happened to a former mayor just 48 hours after returning to Venezuela from a years-long exile. He was kidnapped by Delcy Rodriguez' forces and he's been missing since. This is where Trump wants US companies to do business.

Starlink Mobile is providing free connectivity to @MovistarVe customers in the La Guaira region, and we are working to provide free service for @DigitelAyuda and @movilnet_ve customers as quickly as possible.
Families, communities and businesses with compatible LTE smartphones can now stay connected through SMS even if terrestrial networks are not available and customer phones will automatically connect to Starlink Mobile. Coverage will work best with a clear view of the sky.
For those impacted by the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela, Starlink is providing free service through July 25 to new and existing customers. We’re also working to rapidly deploy Starlink terminals and restore connectivity to the hardest-hit areas → starlink.com/support/article…

Our incoming PGY-1 residents got an early look inside the new UPMC Kamin Tower, where paired neurosurgery ORs built around a shared rail-mounted intraoperative MRI will let surgeons image the brain mid-procedure without ever moving the patient. A new home for the next generation of image-guided care, and these residents will help shape it.
