Thailand’s national budget = 3.8 trillion baht (Php 7.2 trillion). Philippines national budget = Php 7.2 trillion. One just announced an equivalent Php 100k subsidy for 1,000,000 households to install solar. Total value: Php 100 billion. The other just announced a record Php 1 TRILLION in budget insertions, leaving the door wide open to the same practices that gave us the Flood Control Scandal and Ghost Projects Scandal.
