Kentucky goes for 2 in OT and beats South Carolina.
That's the largest road comeback in program history.
That should be the end of Shane Beamer, his eighth straight SEC loss and 12th in last 14 games against Power Four teams.

Death, Taxes and a Shane Beamer team blowing a huge first half lead and complete control of the game. That my friends is consistency.

They may have to do a 30 For 30 one day on fourth down decisions made during the Shane Beamer era at South Carolina. We will need an explanation on what the hell kept happening on some of the worst decisions ever made in college football.

This is what South Carolina had coming into this season...
- $30+ million roster
- 3rd year starter at QB
- New OC
- Most blue chip talent on a roster (on paper) in program history
- 40% of the total 5 stars in program history
- 6th year DC
- Top 10 pick at EDGE
I'll be the first to say that I hate being wrong. I was wrong about this year. Really wrong.
Love Beamer, but all of this is absolutely inexcusable. #SpursUp

Playing Kent State and Towson reveal absolutely nothing.
Zero has changed from last season's 4-8 finish.
Same players. Same head coach.
Shane Beamer's now 2-10 in his last 12 games against Power Four opponents.

South Carolina had 297 yards at halftime. It has had three yards since then.

Tonight, I memorialize Jim Toman. Beloved on baseball diamonds across this state.
Gregarious. Hilariously funny. He loved baseball, his family, and his pythons (biceps). A true recruiter. A groomer of talent. Beloved.
Thanks to Monte Lee, Landon Powell, Stuart Lake and others for coloring in this story- to bring the flavor that Jim Toman brought to any dugout he sat in.

I don’t have the words for this group of players this summer. The entire Pee Dee should be proud of how they have represented the area.
Incredible turnaround after starting 2-3, and go on a 22 game winning streak to win the state title.
