I'm getting more bullish on purpose specific stablecoins. We're only in the second period of adoption. 🚀🚀
BREAKING: 🇺🇸 $2 trillion Morgan Stanley launches an internal lab to test stablecoin payments, tokenized assets and DeFi. WALL STREET IS GOING ON-CHAIN! 🚀

by separating the 'How' (SIMDs) from the 'Should' (SGPs), Solana preserves engineering mindset while maintaining community sovereignty tHis a great solution because it’s the first time I think I’ve seen a line in the sand between these two things in any DAO or network.
1/ Solana onchain governance is live🗳️ Validators can now propose, support, and decide core protocol decisions via Solana Governance Proposals (SGPs) These are fully onchain, stake-weighted, and verified by Merkle proof 👇

Congrats to @richardkingxyz and team for the launch!
Introducing Leaps Finance Most protocols trickle yield over months with superficial rewards. Leaps is different: you choose an asset, set a price you'd be happy to sell higher or buy lower, and get paid today for that decision, in stablecoins. Launching soon on Solana

As inflation continues to decline and SFDP support decreases, validators need to lean into DeFi and real yield to stay afloat. Unfortunately the writing is on the wall: 1. Hyperliquid is routing ~97-99% of its fees into $HYPE buybacks (> $1.1B+ executed) 2. There's growing consensus in the Solana community to reduce inflation: - Recent SIMDs to double the disinflation rate, increase burn rate (eg. 550, 553) - SFDP delegations reduced from 1:1 matching to 0.5:1 (50k SOL cap)

Hey @tradetheflow_ your hacker is surprisingly honest. 10/10 for transparency, 0/10 for operational security

Spoke to two founders in the last 3 weeks building on Solana solely because it's fast, cheap, and battle-tested. They don't even care about crypto, they just need infrastructure that works. Solana AI Summer.

Welcome to Proof of work 2.0
🚨BREAKING: Nvidia will pay you $1,000 a month to host a mini AI data center at your house. It looks like a regular AC unit sitting in your yard. Nobody walking past would know what is inside. Inside sits 16 Nvidia Blackwell GPUs and Dell servers running at full capacity. A startup called Span builds and installs them. They are backed by Nvidia directly. The whole unit bolts onto your home and you get paid for the power and Wi-Fi you supply. Some estimates put the monthly payout around $1,000. That is rent money just for hosting a box you never touch. Span says the units deploy significantly faster and cheaper than traditional data centers. That is exactly why Nvidia is backing the suburban rollout instead of waiting for more commercial land. The AI boom needed more compute. It found it in the suburbs. The grid is being rebuilt one backyard at a time. Save this.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Span is partnering with Nvidia to pilot mini data centers (looking like AC units) in new homes. Homeowners pay a flat fee (e.g. $150/month) to Span, which covers their electricity and internet bills. The program does not involve Nvidia paying hosts $1,000 a month. arstechnica.com/ai/2026/05/the… span.io/blog/span-anno… realtor.com/news/trends/nv…

We're partnering with @pyefinance to push staking on Solana forward. Phase Stake and All Phase Delegation validators are now getting early access to Pye. Enabling custom reward splits, stake lockups, and optional liquidity for locked stake. This provides access to DeFi and stake trading, offering validators greater flexibility in their operations. If you're not paying attention to what Pye is building, you should be.

🤝 Thrilled to be supporting @pyefinance in their mission to turn stake accounts into tradable commodities. Bringing off-chain fee kickbacks on-chain, offering fixed yields, and increasing liquidity for staked SOL, what's not to love?! Onward. 🫡
We’re working with @Layer_33_ and the independent validators they support as part of the early formation of programmable staking markets on Solana. Independent operators are the backbone of Solana. Layer33 is an initiative to work with high-quality independent validators and ensure they have a place to access new opportunities as staking infrastructure evolves. Partnerships like this help ensure new staking infrastructure reflects the realities of smaller validator operations, not just large institutions. More: pye.fi/blog/layer33-joins-py…

spoke to erik from @pyefinance today - podcast episode incoming. here's a preview: - validators on solana are evolving from pure devops into full asset managers, turning staked sol into a high interest savings account that can power sophisticated defi strategies - pye finance splits native stake into two spl tokens a principal token that always redeems 1 to 1 for sol at maturity and a reward token that captures all future staking yield, enabling trading of future rewards - a huge share of solana’s stake roughly 30 to 50 billion dollars is effectively idle capital today and financializing validator rewards unlocks new yield opportunities for both validators and stakers - validators today are the underbanked layer of web3 running sizable balance sheets without proper access to credit, cash flow tools or structured yield products, which pye aims to solve - the long term vision is a validator native defi ecosystem where every validator and lst has its own market, and participants can trade the time value of money on chain similar to strip bonds in traditional finance
History doesn’t repeat, but it rhymes. 1970s oil producers 🤝 Solana validators The financialization layer is inevitable.
