For centuries, the Masjid al-Ḥarām in Makkah had four separate prayer areas, each serving a different Sunni school of thought, with its own Imam leading congregational prayers.
The Shāfiʿī congregation typically prayed first, followed by the other schools. As a result, the same prayer was performed multiple times in separate congregations.
On 27 October 1926, King ʿAbdulʿAzīz brought this practice to an end, following an agreement among scholars to unite worshippers behind a single Imam.
Since then, each obligatory prayer has been held in one congregation, bringing worshippers together regardless of their school of thought.
A century later, this tradition of unity continues. Millions of Muslims stand shoulder to shoulder in the holiest mosque in Islām, following one Imam in prayer, united in their worship of Allāh.

Fox News is putting Nicki Minaj up telling people to vote red.
Let’s break that down.
Can Nicki Minaj vote? No.
She’s not a U.S. citizen.
Can Nicki Minaj’s husband vote? No, he’s a registered sex offender.
Can Nicki Minaj’s brother vote? No, he’s serving 25 years to life for child sexual assault.
She seems like the perfect spokesperson for MAGA republicans.

Elon is now threatening the United States Government if he is investigated after the midterms. You know what eliminates those threats? Seizing all of his assets, nationalizing SpaceX, and putting him on trial for treason against the United States and war crimes against Ukraine. If he wants to threaten with all his money, take away all his fucking money.

I'm tired of people denigrating Muslims for being Muslims.
The Quran says, and I first heard this from my daughter, who read the Quran from start to finish when she was 15 years old, and she said, "Read this."
Allah put the different people on the earth not that they might despise one another, but that they might come to know one another and learn from one another.
There are bad actors in every faith because we're all flawed human beings.
But the religious wars, the culture wars, I'm just tired.

Cesc Fabregas Como have made us look like a team who had won a RAFFLE to be in the Champions league.
At times it looked as though Como had 12 players on the pitch.
We were TOOTHLESS in attack
NO running power in the team
An INABILITY to press Como
NO patterns in possession
A lot of credit has to go to Cesc and the way he has built this team & then you see the way he has got his ideas into this team.
Everyone knows their jobs and are dialled in in and out of possession.
They play to teammates under pressure - a great example of trust in one another.
But that is no excuse for us, we were poor on the night and look a team on zero confidence right now - so much to do to turn this around....and I haven't even got onto the injuries! 🤬
The difference in budgets certainly wasn’t reflected in the difference between the two teams on the pitch!
Nico Paz - lovely footballer btw.

when the oppressed becomes the oppressor it can be very deadly that’s President Adama Barrow the selfish, power hungry, corrupt and moron. #BarrowMustGo
President Adama Barrow has issued a stern warning to Banjul North National Assembly member Momodou Lamin Bah over his participation in a youth-led protest at State House, describing the demonstration as a treasonable offense and threatening severe consequences if the lawmaker repeats the action.
Speaking in Banjul, Mr. Barrow criticized Mr. Bah for accompanying young protesters to State House, arguing that such demonstrations were unacceptable.
The president recalled periods when Banjul residents endured weeks without electricity but did not stage similar protests.
“He accompanied young people to protest at State House. That’s a serious crime; it’s a treasonable offense,” Mr. Barrow said, adding that former President Yahya Jammeh would have responded with deadly force.
“If this was Jammeh’s time, he would have shot all of them, including the National Assembly member,” he said.
Mr. Barrow also dismissed Mr. Bah’s previous criticism of conditions at the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital, accusing the lawmaker of working against the interests of his constituents.
“He doesn’t want your peace today, and he doesn’t want your peace tomorrow,” the president said.
In an unusually forceful warning, Mr. Barrow threatened consequences if Mr. Bah participated in another protest at State House.
“I warned him; this is the last time. If he dares go there again, he will not repeat it. What we do to him, he will not forget until his death,” he said.
The president insisted that his tolerance should not be mistaken for weakness or fear, pointing to his decision to challenge former President Jammeh.
“If I was someone who was scared, I would not have faced President Jammeh,” he said, emphasizing that this was his final warning to the lawmaker.
Mr. Barrow urged Banjul North voters to replace Mr. Bah in the next parliamentary election, accusing him of promoting fitna, or discord, rather than advancing the constituency’s interests.
He called on residents to nominate a stronger candidate, arguing that Mr. Bah was serving neither the people of Banjul nor the broader interests of the country.
