Summary of political differences in my world: Cons are annoyed by humanity but love people. Libs love humanity, but are irritated by people
What I experienced in the 60s and the 70s was men offering their seat and holding doors for my mother and grandmother. Kind people helping when her car was broken down by going and calling my father at a nearby restaurant.
So man, I don’t know where you lived but that sucked!

Here are some facts that most voters don’t remember or never knew.
The Obama administration spent TWICE as much money on the Obamacare websites (THAT DIDN’T WORK) than what the White House Ballroom costs.
Unlike the Ballroom, the websites were fully funded by taxpayers. 🤪
This is fake. It’s been proven many times to be fake.
How is this still making the rounds?
Wouldn’t Kamala have brought this up if this was legit?

This is false.
I-638 does not require a genital exam. Read it.
A girl's own doctor confirms her sex using any ONE of three options: anatomy, genetics, or natural testosterone levels.
No coach. No school official. No inspection.
When the facts don't support your side, you reach for fear. Scaring parents with something the law doesn't say isn't an argument. It's a scare tactic.
And it's girls who pay for it. They just want to compete against girls, on a fair field, for their spot on the podium.
They deserve the truth. So do you.
Where I stand: YES on I-638.
Vote accordingly and be heard November 3rd.

I'll say upfront. Suicide is never the answer. Having said that, this is a helluva report.

She held up a book and the room went silent. Teachers are being trained on something most parents have never heard of, and one word, “adultism,” is why she stopped mid-sentence and said three words you won’t forget. Nobody told you this was in the curriculum. Imagine finding out what your kid’s teacher was told to do when an adult is in the room, then hearing it straight from her mouth. Is she right, or is she going too far? Stay until the last 10 seconds, because that’s the part everyone’s sharing. Watch it, decide for yourself, and send it to every parent you know.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Walter Koenig’s passing.
Although we did not know each other well away from the set, we shared the later seasons of the original Star Trek series and the six films that followed.
What I observed, and what so many fans have expressed over the years, was a man who genuinely loved the Star Trek community.
At conventions, Walter was rarely content to remain behind a signing table. He preferred to be among the people who had kept Star Trek alive for so many decades.
That kind of genuine connection is rare, and it will be remembered by everyone who came into contact with him.
My condolences to his family, his friends, and the countless fans whose lives he touched.

It sounds like Portland is getting ready for a lawsuit – at Mercer Island, WA
The City of Portland says its reviewing the incident at city-owned Providence Park, where footage captured women’s sports supporters being struck and forcibly removed during a Thorns game.
"The City is working with the Stadium Operator to receive more details about the incident."
Asked whether it approved policies governing XX-XY shirts, messages about transgender participation in sports, banners or press credentials, the city answered: “No.”

I’ve been a university professor for 15 years, political economy, Duke University, pro-capitalist, thus a minority, and can attest that for decades these schools have price-gouged & indoctrinated millions of students. They’ve destroyed instead of developed young human capital. Deliberately. So a majority of millions would rule and vote socialist. As is happening. Utterly grotesque.
WILD: University of Michigan students PROVE just how STUPID and BRAINWASHED they truly are when they were asked to define what socialism is, while a Fox poll shows nearly half of young Americans still view it favorably.
“Socialism doesn't mean like anti-capitalism. Based off what I learned in my Gov class, it's basically like spending more money on helping society.”
“Socialism to me is a concept in politics where everybody gets a little bit of everything. Everybody benefits and everybody is really taking care of kind of that social net that you see in other types of politics.”
“I think a lot of people get the economic system of Socialism confused with the government system of Communism.”
We are SCREWED if we do not change how the younger generations views capitalism.

"Washington hospitals will lose 6 billion dollars.
Thanks, Trump."
That's the headline.
Here's what it left out.
That 6 billion is over 7 years.
Before any federal cut,
our hospitals had already lost 4.5 billion dollars.
Why?
Olympia pays them about half
of what it costs to treat a Medicaid patient.
Then in 2025, Olympia raised their taxes.
The hospital association says hospitals were
one of the only groups hit with cuts
and new taxes.
240 million dollars a year.
The biggest piece came through
the House Finance Committee.
The chair of that committee?
April Berg.
Gas got an exemption.
Groceries got an exemption.
Hospitals didn't.
And every 2 years,
the state uses 452 million dollars
from a tax on hospitals
to cover its own Medicaid bill.
Now they want you outraged
that someone else is squeezing hospitals.
Audit before ask.
We warned President Trump and the MAGA Congress against passing the Big Betrayal Bill, knowing it would hurt hospitals in every part of our state.
A new report shows Washington's hospitals will lose $6 billion due to their Medicaid cuts. That is devastating to our healthcare system.

California's next governor will almost certainly be Xavier Becerra, up 27 points a week out.
Becerra is to Newsom what Biden was to Obama: a pale imitation you can barely see the outline of.
Republicans found the talent, first Pratt and now Hilton. What they're up against is a Democrat machine about as secure as Castro's.

The Ninth Circuit dismissed the appeal on the basis that it didn't have jurisdiction to hear it yet. It did not dismiss the lawsuit, and it did not issue a ruling on the merits.
California voters -- why do you elect idiots like Rob Bonta and Kamala Harris to the highest law enforcement position in the state?
Bonta is either lying in this post or he is a certifiable idiot.
BREAKING: The federal court of appeals has just DISMISSED Trump’s lawsuit threatening to disenfranchise thousands of Californians right before the midterm elections
Trump’s lawsuit bordered on the absurd and was nothing more than a reckless political stunt
This meritless lawsuit has appropriately been thrown out of court

This is a big deal. The thing that has haunted me from my interviews with detransitioners is how the medical establishment completely abandoned them when they decided to reverse course.
