Today I'm making electrodes for an enzymatic fuel cell. Enzymes are biological catalysts, they speed up chemical rxns. Some enzymes add or remove electrons from molecules as they do their catalysis. Put these on an electrode and BAM!* you can generate an electrical current.1/3ish
I'm not entirely sad about being inside on a gorgeous day watching videos and reading pop sci articles about about dragons.

I had a visitor in my class who is working hard to learn to be the best service dog he can be. 🐶
