Mark Cuban's take on the next job wave deserves more attention than it's getting.
His argument: software as we know it is dying. Generic SaaS gets replaced by AI customized to how each business actually operates.
The question then becomes — who builds and deploys that for the 33 million companies in the US that can't do it themselves?
That's the market. Not AI for enterprises with 500-person eng teams. The other 99%.
SMBs don't have CTOs. They don't have prompt engineers. They need someone to sit across the table, understand their workflow, and wire up an AI system that fits it.
That's a services business. Probably the largest one this decade.
Trying to order kids meal in the app you can't do that anymore?

Yesterday at the White House, leaders from across our industry came together to sign the White House Accord on Super Intelligence.
The principle is simple: the companies building this technology have the primary responsibility to develop and deploy it safely, and to be accountable when they fall short.
The Accord reinforces that responsibility with robust internal controls, independent external evaluation, and board level oversight.
Super Intelligence offers an extraordinary opportunity to advance discovery, productivity, security, health, and prosperity.
The future of Super Intelligence will be shaped not only by what it can do, but by the confidence it earns. By building with ambition, rigor, and responsibility, we can help ensure this extraordinary technology expands opportunity and improves lives for generations to come.

Citadel founder Ken Griffin admitted at Stanford that AI is making his PhD researchers redundant, with a system that reproduces academic finance papers and tests them out-of-sample in 2 to 3 hours versus 6 to 8 weeks for a junior quant, and said he went home depressed.
→ The same cycle now fits into one sentence in a text box
→ A strategy described in one sentence produced a full backtest in 20 minutes at 1,537% on Bitcoin with a 1.02 Sharpe
→ The edge was never brains, it was the cycle: take an idea, test it, kill it if it fails, repeat faster than anyone

Claude Chrome is great for working. But it doesn’t support:
1. Running local models.
2. Working with Web GPU.
3. Isn’t open source.
Having lunch with @EmreSokullu who built webbrain.one for himself.
Makes Google Chrome a lot more useful.

The current scarce resource is knowing which problem is worth solving, and caring enough to spend a decade on it. A model can tell you a thousand things you could build, but it sure cannot tell you what you should love, even if it pretends to.

Today, we’re launching @polygres
We started with a stupidly simple question:
Why are we trying to fit an entire company inside a context window?
When an agent needs something, our solution is still basically:
find it → turn it into text → stuff it into the rectangle.
And when the rectangle fills up?
Make the rectangle bigger.
We think that’s backwards AF.
So... Polygres turns the data you already have in Postgres into extended context for AI agents.
Instead of carrying everything around at once, an agent can search across facts, meaning and relationships, retrieve exactly what matters, reason over it, and keep moving.
The goal is simple.
your database shouldn’t have to fit inside the context window. It should feel like it does.
That idea is basically why we built Polygres.
