Funding rounds aren't milestones. It shouldn't be your goal to raise a series A. It should be your goal not to need to.

@ericdrowell is a wizard. I am not a coder or an artist. Just a guy with a vision for an epic TD/RPG/RTS. Worked for months on my pipeline but performance with three.js was blech. brometal changed everything. this is on a meager rtx 4060 laptop and an rtx 2060 super in real-time.

Opus 5 High might be the most ridiculous model I’ve ever tested. It produced this result in around ONE HOUR. Fable 5 needed almost 3 hours. GPT-5.6 Sol worked for over an hour and still created almost nothing compared to this. Opus 5 didn’t just win. It completely OUTCLASSED them.

NVIDIA did it again.. they trained a GPT that generates human movement instead of text.. next-token prediction, but the tokens are body motions. it's called GPC and it hit a 99.98% success rate reproducing a massive corpus of motion clips.. cartwheels, vaults, flips, all of it. β†’ 99.98% success rate reproducing motion clips β†’ learns cartwheels, flips, vaulting from raw data β†’ adapts to new tasks with <1% extra parameters studios spend 6-12 months and millions of dollars building custom controllers for one character in one game. GPC does it in one forward pass. Pixar, Ubisoft, and every mocap studio on the planet just felt a chill down their spine. the same next-token trick that gave us ChatGPT is now doing parkour inside a physics engine.

img2threejs v1.3 is now available. πŸŽ‹ One photo β†’ procedural Three.js code. No meshes. No manual modeling. GitHub: github.com/hoainho/img2three… v1.3 brings major improvements to geometry reconstruction, material generation, validation, and overall output quality. For this demo, I used the reference image of a CS2 β˜… M9 Bayonet | Doppler Phase 3: tradeit.gg/csgo/trade?search… If you’re new to img2threejs, now is a great time to try it. If you’ve used it before, I’d love for you to compare the results with previous versions. Feedback, bug reports, and PRs are always welcome.

So... Postgres is now basically a search engine? pg_textsearch was just open sourced. It enables BM25 to search your database.... massive upgrade for key word search. Google uses BM25 in their search engine. Claude told me: "if you're already on Postgres, you can now skip the whole sync-your-data-to-Elasticsearch dance for search." (ps, how can you not love Claude). Now I got to figure out how to implement in my Django querysets... future course? Grab it at github.com/timescale/pg_text… #sponsored
