Your happiness is a choice. Relying on external events to drive your happiness will never work. You can choose to be happy every day.

Down markets are a gift to the young. Enjoy the ability to invest your savings for the future at lower prices and watch them compound. 🎉 You have a gift that previous generations no longer have... time. Don’t waste it. 👊 – at Los Altos, CA

Great advice by Warren Buffet. Being busy is not the same as being productive. You control your calendar and it's often better to have chunks of time left free than rushing from meeting to meeting. Urgency != Busy.

This is a must see!! What these men have accomplished building one of the biggest brands in the world is amazing not to mention all the other business ventures. 👍🏽👏🏽

“Hunger” is something that nobody can teach and it comes from within. IMHO, this typically comes to those that don’t have Privilege. My parents have always said we want to give you more than what we had and we do same with our kids but how do we teach “hunger”. Thx for this!

11/ I’m still thinking a lot about how to approach Privilege in Silicon Valley. As a starting point, I wish more people here would recognize it when discussing their ‘self-made’ success. PS: big props to those founders/investors who have made it without Privilege.

What our “leader” and his administration have done is empower people who have a deep rooted hatred for all races but their own. This is ridiculous, try riding any public transit system and this happens all the time. #WhereIsTheLoveForAll #Equality
Sad state. Founders need to be well versed in the venture business and partner with other founders who have gone through it. Experience in this situation is critical.
1/ I've met so many founders in the last 6 mo who confidentially told me their recent war stories with many top-tier VC firms & their treatment. Two sides to every story but holy moley does it make me sad. I hope the GPs understand that we all talk too. Examples...
And the 4 secret angel investors were: Andy Bechtolsheim Ram Shriram David Cheriton, and (drum roll...) Jeff Bezos #TechTrivia

You have generational people in all facets of life (sports, politics, business, etc). @kevin @mikeyk are generational entrepreneurs what they have accomplished we probably won’t see anything like it for quite some time. 👍🏽👌🏽👏🏽
The @instagram journey is one I won't forget. It started by building simple products that solved universal problems. Now eight years we look back and are proud and grateful to have been part of that journey. Thank you to the entire community as we move on for now.

Having the self-belief that you will be able to figure things out as you go along is critical to success at anything hard. Get started and trust yourself. No one has all the answers at the beginning.
