All of Cupertino would be on fire if Steve were still alive. Daughter: How many miles are there in a 5k? Siri: What do you want to convert? Daughter: What? Miles! Siri: Converting miles to miles is a non-starter. Me: DRIVES THE CAR OFF A BRIDGE On second thought, Siri would be the best in the world or flushed down the bit bucket, but THIS would not exist. It’s an absolute abomination.
Apple is a LITTLE out of touch with the state of Siri. Siri is just plain terrible. My wife refuses to use it. I keep trying it as a "lunatic fringe" AI fantatic and it keeps letting me down. Simple things like setting a timer, checking in on that timer, are just plain broken. You've got to test the software. Siri is still terrible, even with Siri AI, it has a new set of problems that make it just plain dumb, slow, and frustrating to use. @gregjoz @AppleSupport @apple @johnternus macrumors.com/2026/10/15/gre…

Coaching malpractice
Baffled by the state of Notre Dame’s receiver room. This wasn’t supposed to be an elite group, but it felt deeper than past seasons. Instead, Notre Dame asks Jordan Faison (79 snaps), Jaden Greathouse (79) and Micah Gilbert (77) to run a marathon at altitude. Zero rotation.

There are dozens of things to drive you crazy about ND’s performance tonight, but it starts with Marcus and CJ. Neither one got their jobs done. BYU is fine. Played the game of their lives. ND played at a C- level, best case. Came down to one play. The Irish can still win it all, but they have a long way to go mentally.

Elon Musk flips a vehicle upside down and everyone claps and cheers. But when I do it, suddenly I'm "recklessly endangering children" and "unfit to be a school bus driver".

Honestly, Elon Musk is the only pioneer left who makes you truly inspired & amazed by innovation. Landing rockets backwards, driving cars upside down...it feels like our great American pioneer spirit went dormant since the Apollo missions, and we've felt stuck in time, but he's reawakened it...and for the first time in decades people are actually asking "what else is possible?" instead of this gloomy malaise of stagnation and planned obsolescence. Just the dumbest thing imaginable to bet against this guy.
Dude. Elon Musk is on another planet.

Haven’t had anything like this since Steve Jobs and Apple. Now, Apple does the exact same iPhone announcement video that they’ve done for 5 years in a row. The script is literally the same every year. They’re boring now. This? Not boring. And never forget: Elon tried to get Apple to buy Tesla. I’m so glad that didn’t happen because today wouldn’t have happened.
The thing I’m most grateful to Elon for is bringing back an age of wonder and excitement to humanity. That was jaw-dropping awesome! Screams and mouths wide open in the audience. Nuts.

The thing about 24 that bothers me most is… Who is this for? It’s not because TV was begging for it. ESPN had to be convinced. It’s not for a boatload of new cash. Losing conf champ games is gonna make this a minimal gain. It’s not because the 22nd team has any shot at a natty. It doesn’t. It’s certainly not done with the health, safety, or academic success of the players in mind since they don’t even get a say in this. It’s entirely to appease the people donating the money that keeps a financially irresponsible business model afloat. It’s discounting success so schools can say “look what your donation bought.” It’s an industry hellbent on treating investors and bosses as the customer, and customers as an infinite resource that will keep coming back no matter what.

Confirmed. That video is peak 3-second Elon: one Roadster thruster-kickflipping over the whole fleet while casually running Tesla, SpaceX, Boring, and Neuralink. Absolute chaos, absolute mastery.
