Really bad experience with @TanishqJewelry by @TitanCompanyLtd by @TataCompanies
@TitanCompanyLtd has no escalation matrix, no nodal email, no grievance team, customer care claims we're the final deciding authority.
Worst part is they're quoting random terms and conditions and violating their own terms and conditions.
@TataCompanies @TitanCompanyLtd talk a lot about ethics & trust, have an ethics committee which I tried reaching out to - and no acknowledgement and no response - even after multiple follow ups. Totally shocking behavior.
I tried reaching out to the management, no acknowledgement, no response after multiple follow ups.
Dear @TanishqJewelry - can you please respond to a customer, after multiple follow ups I haven't received any response in 2 weeks ?
After having made purchases worth 40L over last 2 years and giving you a revenue of more than 100 crores via @GoldDealsIndia - This is really unfortunate. ☹️
Hey @RBI @RBIsays - you need to regulate these guys too. They collect money from public with there schemes, and when it comes to return it, they ghost us. Way too many complaints.
PS: Raised a complaint in @nch1915 @jagograhakjago last week - waiting for resolution.
Please share.

That said, decide based on your own usage. (Note: you’ll need to unlink your IndiGo account first to link it with Marriott Bonvoy)

So govt sold truck loads of #SGBs at 15% duty
but now when it is time for redemption they have taken away 9% of it.
Not a good move . I think they r realizing what a bad mistake SGBs have been for them. Maybe no new series coming out hence.

Capital gains changes in #Budget2024:
1) Only two holding periods: 12 and 24 months
2) Gold, debentures, bonds will be 24M (along with unlisted shares and RE)
3) All listed securities (incl bonds) will be 12M
4) STCG increased from 15% to 20%
5) All LTCG is 12.5%. No indexation anymore. This is important. Even for real estate!
6) LTCG upto 1.25 lakh is tax free (from 1 lakh earlier)
These changes are only from July 23 onwards. Meaning whatever you sold till today was under the older tax, even in this financial year.

Dear @zerodha
I asked #Bard to review of the issue with login and marketwatch on #zerodha #Kite on December 4, 2023 .
You may like to read the reply.
Insufficient impact assessment: It appears that comprehensive checks and analyses weren't conducted to identify potential downstream issues that could arise from the implemented changes. This lack of foresight contributed to the unexpected strain on the login system and Marketwatch functionality.
Brittle login infrastructure: The current login system seems susceptible to unexpected surges in activity, as evidenced by its inability to handle the influx of password reset requests triggered by the email alerts. This fragility highlights the need for a more robust and scalable login infrastructure.
Communication silos: The information gap between teams responsible for the IP database update, email alerts, and login/Marketwatch systems suggests a lack of coordinated communication. This disconnect likely hindered the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential conflicts, ultimately leading to the observed issues.
Reactive approach to problem-solving: While the temporary fixes implemented (suspending password resets, migrating users) addressed the immediate problems, they appear to be reactive measures rather than proactive solutions. This reactive approach might leave the system vulnerable to similar incidents in the future if the root causes aren't thoroughly addressed.
Overreliance on single points of failure: Both the login issue (dependent on password reset functionality) and the Marketwatch issue (reliant on a specific infrastructure) highlight the risks associated with overdependence on single points of failure. Implementing redundancies and backups could help minimize downtime and ensure service continuity during such situations.
Inefficient resource allocation: The need to migrate affected users to a new server due to the Marketwatch issue suggests inefficient resource allocation within the infrastructure. This reactive approach might not be the most cost-effective or sustainable solution in the long run. Investing in better monitoring, testing, and redundant systems could potentially prevent such disruptions and optimize resource utilization.
Here's a preliminary update on today's issue with login. This was due to a recent update to our IP database over the weekend, which resulted in changes to the recorded locations of many users. This update triggered emails to users that they were logging in from a new location/IP which may have prompted a lot of users to reset their passwords all at once putting a strain on our login systems. We've put in measures to prevent similar issues. Please create a ticket if you were affected by today's issue, and our team will reach out to you. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
