Since being in Office w/ Mayor Bass, we've received ~3,000 fraud, waste, & abuse claims‼️
Instead of helping my Office do those audits & investigations, the Mayor cut my budget.
Ironically, we ended up finding fraud in her homelessness program which she didn't want us to audit.

There’s always someone else to blame with Karen Bass: The weather, the county, the system.
But Angelenos don’t need more excuses. They need a mayor who takes accountability and gets things done.

NEW AUDIT‼️Controller Mejia's Office finds that NO ONE is effectively looking after the City's risk management practices, leading to skyrocketing liability payouts 💰

Postcarded for this district this cycle. Go Randy! Go California!
“In CA-22, almost twice as many voters have returned a ballot in this election than the last gubernatorial election.”
That's all Randy @Villegas_CA22, an incredible progressive champion for the working class.

When we look back in fifty years and ask ourselves how democracy gave way to tyranny, a huge part of it will be that everyone voluntarily abandoned reading, and it turns out you can’t have a modern, developed, free state without a highly literate population.

We mourn the passing of Patrick Stewart, who inspired countless individuals at NASA (and beyond) to boldly go where no one has gone before.

#RM's SFMOMA Exhibition makes history, selling out 66,000 tickets as soon as it opened with barely any promo, breaking the record for the Museum's highest presale volume of All Time, exceeding previous levels by up to 6x, with people from all over the world flying in just to see Namjoon's collection! The exhibition merchandise sold out in just 3 hours! 💪🐐👑💜

🚨AGAIN
When this Mayor faces calls to AUDIT & address the City's failures, she'd rather waste tax dollars on outside consultants.
The City already has an INDEPENDENT AUDITOR, one beholden to the PEOPLE: The City Controller
Fund us with adequate staff to audit LADWP regularly!
An independent, non-city-affiliated audit of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power rates has been ordered by Mayor Karen Bass, her office says. ktla.com/news/local-news/ind…

I'm actually so tired of feeling like I can somehow fix structural problems via my own personal choices. So tired.
Happy to see all the @VannerOfficial back on my tl.
