Benfica started the season with 24 year old Portuguese CB Araujo as captain. He’s lost capacity the past 3 games and Circati started ahead of him in the cup QF.
Auckland get more at home against City than Victory get at home against City.
19k not a bad crowd at all but bad optics lol
6 chances created by Irankunda, can’t remember a game where he’s had more? One of the best halves of football I’ve seen from him. It’s a shame his teammates couldn’t score

Que jogo está a fazer o Irankunda. Capacidade de desequilíbrio brutal, acompanhada de uma tomada de decisão top. O australiano não quer perder pontos.

Irankunda tem muito potencial. Muita qualidade. Apenas 20 anos. O melhor do lado do Sporting.
Poor half from Sporting. Irankunda will be the scale goal because he is new, Non-Portuguese & Non-Brazilian but he was fine. Should’ve had an assist with last kick of the half. Not everything he did came off but that’s the same for the whole team
NSL clubs how now invented flags aswell. What’s next
Guys, I’m glad we inspired you!! Flags looked great but if you wanted our contact, you just had to ask! Next time @gomvfc just flick us a message, happy to help 🤝
John Iredale just scored his 10th goal of the K League season, in only 16 games. We will be seeing you at the Asian Cup @john_iredale9 😤😤😤
Premier League McGree
It’s finally happening
Bad decision IMO
Well that changed quickly 🤯⚡️
72 hours ago, Sydney FC would reportedly not be releasing 17-year-old star Akol Akon for the FIFA U-17 World Cup during the A-League season.
Now, the Sky Blues have reversed their decision, confirming they will make him available if selected.
“Both organisations share the same commitment: developing young Australian players in the best possible way”
So what changed? Full details: tinyurl.com/mwfcbj8r
Hot take but it doesn’t bother me at all. All this “shop window” talk… he’s literally already been sold and is just on loan to Sydney. Playing Aus U23’s and senior men’s football. In this rare instance, he’s beyond the U17 World Cup.
The mastermind behind Australia's Golden Generation says Sydney FC's decision to not release Akol Akon for the U17 World Cup is 'pathetic'.
Writing for football360.com.au, youth development guru Ron Smith explains why he feels the move is so disappointing: tinyurl.com/3pdyzxb6
