We now have the world’s highest tax on investing, a 70% tax rate on gains! It shrinks our economy, innovation and wages. It hurts young & poor people the most. Podcast below explains why. Please retweet, encourage friends to watch it and do the same👇 share.google/HonDd9NgUdPesCf…

Very Australian for CommSec (Australia’s largest retail broker, owned by the country’s biggest bank) to be down on both its app and website during trading hours without feeling the need to make an announcement. Particularly when it’s happening at the exact same time other massive platforms are getting hacked. They used to post updates on X, but they deactivated their account without explanation despite it being their largest communication channel by a long shot. Imagine Fidelity or Charles Schwab going completely dark during US market hours, posting zero updates, and just hoping their clients wouldn't notice.

This mf started OpenAI as a non-profit with a mission to build open source for all humans. Now everything is closed, and this guy is talking shit about open source and local inference. What a stupid scammer.
sam: local inference is a terrible allocation of scarce resources “a lot of people want local inference, and somehow they assume that the problem is solved now because we have open-source models, we're going to be able to run them on our computers, and so we're not going to need all the stuff in the data centre but from a global allocation perspective, actually it's quite terrible to have everybody, like, have a bunch of the world's limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer and being used five percent of the time you want maximum utilisation in the cloud if you're trying to deal with this very supply-constrained environment somehow many people's intuition is the opposite of that”

“Hughsy, I am a mum, running my gym, and had to get rid of my my staff to survive. I am now working from sun up to sun down in a physical job, smashing myself to keep the doors open. All while raising my teenagers as a single parent. Thanks for all that you are doing to bring light to these grubs.” Every honest private employer of people is stretching to breaking point. Three levels of waste and corruption, council, state, federal. We must change how we are governed.

Andrew this is so disingenuous. Your lying Government is the problem. The blatant election campaign lies of 2025, revealed in the May 2026 budget, lit the fuse. Now we are all looking at the sheer scale of your Government’s fraud and incompetence. It’s playing out whether we comment or not. Standard of living dropping first time in modern history, highest inflation in western world, unemployment growing at alarming rate, private businesses failing at an extraordinary rate. This is all your government’s doing, this is not the fault of ‘misinformation’ on the internet. Facts don’t care about your feelings.
Social media has become antisocial media. Algorithms reward outrage, turning political opponents into enemies. In my Joan Kirner Oration, I argue for changing the feeds that inflame us and rebuilding the communities that connect us. Scroll less, stroll more. ow.ly/fqEn50ZZTtH #auspol

He used taxpayer funds in an attempt to ruin Helen Haines political career only a few weeks ago and on Monday night he called her ‘A beacon of light’ with ‘the highest integrity’. We all have been let down so badly. My god, no wonder Australia is tanking so hard.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has deflected questions about a reported ‘dirt sheet’ his office compiled on independent MP Helen Haines last month, instead praising her as a “good local member”. LATEST: bit.ly/4yCgTnz We launched a faster, redesigned app - with all new puzzles: bit.ly/3RceccM

Pauline laid out One Nation’s agenda: - Healthcare cards for every self funded retiree - the people who worked, saved and got nothing back. - Immigration slashed. Housing pressure eased. Skills still filled. - Net Zero dead. Climate department gone. Paris Agreement out. Electricity bills down. - NDIS cleaned up - chase the scammers, needs based only, not race based. - Welcome to Country junk ended in government, schools and kids’ sport. - 18C challenged all the way to the High Court. Free speech restored. 30 years of consistency. No waffle. No virtue signalling. Just results. Vote One Nation to save the nation 🇦🇺🇦🇺🧡

BREAKING: Here's the metadata for the dirt sheet Albanese shopped around against Australian MP Helen Haines in the weeks leading up to the far-left terror attack on her life. Metadata says it was written in Word on an Australian Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C) system by the account "Lloyd, Joshua". Joshua Lloyd is Deputy Director of Communications to the Prime Minister of Australia. Great to know Josh spent 2 hours working on the document. Great use of my taxpayer money you bunch of fucking clowns. Thanks for toning down the temperature and uplifting the civility of our national body politic @AlboMP

I’m furious and heartbroken to see my country like this. I could be prosecuted for this, but so be it. It needs to be said. Our empathy is killing us. I stand with MY people, and they’re not my people. Share this. We’ve had enough, and time is running out for France.

Media Release: One Nation will reverse Dr Chalmers’ budget experiments One Nation will fix Dr Jim Chalmers’ destructive budget experiments by reversing his capital gains tax and trust changes. One Nation will also protect negative gearing for up to two investment properties and vows to fight any plan by the Treasurer to impose death taxes and taxes on the family home. One Nation leader Senator Pauline Hanson said Australians were paying for a Treasurer who had no idea what he was doing and the Albanese Labor government who just cannot stop spending and driving up inflation. “Dr Jim Chalmers is experimenting on the Australian economy, and everyday Australians are his guinea pigs.” Senator Pauline Hanson said. “He’s playing with your home, your rent, your business and your savings. When his experiments fail, Australians will pay dearly. “He has smashed business confidence, cut off business investment and helped send the property market into free fall. “Already, more than 1,100 households who bought through Labor’s expanded five per cent deposit scheme are now estimated to owe more than their homes are worth. “Labor encouraged them into the market, then pulled the rug out from under them. “They botched the ATO credit card ban and lied about their involvement. They were forced to back down on their widow tax. Now accountants warn Labor’s trust changes could cost Australians billions in unnecessary advice and restructuring. “Labor couldn’t run a corner shop. But they know how to send one broke. “One Nation will restore the 50 per cent capital gains tax discount and scrap Labor’s proposed 30 per cent minimum tax on trusts. “The status quo of allowing unlimited taxpayer concessions for property tycoons was not working for Australians. The Liberal plan to back the broken model protecting property moguls makes no sense. “One Nation would continue to allow Australians to negatively gear up to two investment properties. “Anthony Albanese has pulled the ladder up behind him on young people trying to break into the property market, protecting tax concessions for existing properties. This includes the Prime Minister’s own ocean view clifftop house in Copacabana, the hundreds of properties held by his own cabinet and the thousands of properties held by property tycoons. “The Labor government must answer whether members of cabinet who benefited from grandfathering negative gearing concessions recused themselves from voting on the measures given their conflict of interest. “Australians should be able to work hard, invest and get ahead. For many young Australians, an investment property was one way they could get a foot into the property market. “One Nation will end this disastrous experiment and reverse Chalmers’ destructive budget experiments. “And we will draw a line around the family home and stop any plans for Labor’s death taxes. “It’s not enough that you already work several days a week to pay for Labor’s uncontrolled spending. Because Labor cannot control their own spending, they will keep coming back to shake you down for more. “My warning is that your family home, your super, and what you leave your children will be in the firing line next. “Labor broke its promises on negative gearing and capital gains tax. Why would Australians trust anything they say? “One Nation will never impose a death tax. We will never impose a tax on the family home. “You should not have to spend your life paying for Labor’s spending addiction, then have them send your children the final bill.”

Nobody prepares you for the part in your 50’s where you're simultaneously trying to build muscle, lose fat, protect your knees, fix your hormones, eat 150g of protein, remember why you walked into the kitchen and realising that "getting wild on a Friday night" now means staying up late enough to watch the full movie without falling asleep halfway through. But here we are….. Thriving-ish….
