On Election Night 2024 I was at CNN until about 3am. I was in the middle of an IVF cycle, so at midnight I was injecting myself in the bathroom then racing back to set. Now, on Election Eve 2026 I’m mom to the most beautiful 9 month old baby boy!
Life can be beautiful 🤍

For some MAGA diehards, rising costs aren't as scary as what a Democratic majority might do. In rural PA, Calvin Ott, 75, can't afford to retire yet and his medical bills doubled this year. But he told @evansemones he backs Trump "100 percent," including on Iran, because "we’re with him to make that sacrifice.” aljazeera.com/news/2026/10/2…

It is fine to issue statements, but what is the WHCA going to do? Other than plan its next black tie dinner honoring Trump.
Today’s action revoking access for journalists from CNN, POLITICO, and MSNOW violates the First Amendment. The implications extend beyond these organizations: a standard used to exclude one news outlet because of its coverage could be applied to any outlet in the future. The American people, through a free and independent press, must be able to scrutinize those elected to power, regardless of whether government officials view it favorably. That’s why courts have repeatedly held that once the White House provides access to journalists, it cannot deny that access arbitrarily or based on the content of their reporting. The WHCA calls on the administration to immediately restore our colleagues' access.

Have been a member of the @whca almost continuously since the 1990s. Our mission is to defend the First Amendment rights of White House correspondents to report on the president without fear or favor. Unfortunately last night did not advance that cause. Time to rethink the dinner.

Excuse me, but *why* is the Confederate flag prominently displayed during what appears to be a slideshow on two screens? Exactly what point is this trying to make — and why?
I stopped by the North Carolina booth at the "Great American State Fair" on the National Mall today.
The state decided not to participate because of the high costs so the booth is sponsored by private orgs.

Hey, @espn, I got an idea…
How about when you sign commentators, put a clause in their contract that forces them to adhere to retweeting and posting stuff rooted in fact?
Otherwise, I have no reason to trust them — or take them seriously

No struggling newspaper ever saved itself by becoming a worse and less essential product. But what's happening today at the @washingtonpost is not just the latest devastating contraction of the news industry; it's the gutting of an American institution vital for a healthy society

The immediate reaction from the rest of the staff + outside allies tells you everything about the power dynamic:
They are defending the chief of staff, not those she disparaged
Makes clear who’s got the juice
Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has helped President Trump achieve the most successful first 11 months in office of any President in American history.
President Trump has no greater or more loyal advisor than Susie.
The entire Administration is grateful for her steady leadership and united fully behind her.

A good number of Trump supporters actually backed Bernie. Even more supported Obama twice.
Ingraham: AOC thinks that MAGA supporters are now moving towards socialism because of the fact in some cases they are paying more for goods and services
Lara Trump: We will have to assume that she had a few too many… No one really believes that Trump voters are turning toward socialism because Trump voters are people who love this country. They don’t want a handout.
Flew over the White House a few moments ago and saw the construction of President Trump’s new $300 million ballroom. Here’s what I noticed … (1/3)
Zoom in just a bit and you really begin to get an idea of just how large this new structure will be compared to the rest of the WH complex. Huge!
Just what DC needs: more expensive, upscale places!!!

You voted to impeach him… and agreed to endorse @NikkiHaley until you got scared and backed out like a spineless coward. You’re the most selfish person in office, a fraud, and an embarrassment to SC who lacks the leadership skills needed to even be a manager at Waffle House

Get used to hearing those words.
