I may be wrong but he was just known as the Springwood Slasher in the previous films. While there was a bunch of hints at him being a predator it was never out right stated that he did anything else besides kill children. 2010 remake said hold my beer and made dude a whole pedo😭

In the 1980 film Pamela only shows up in the last act, and you just accept that she snapped.
Now that we know everything Cardellini's version went through for Jason, Betsy Palmer's scenes hit way harder.
She's not just the lady with the knife anymore. She's a mother who already went through hell for her kid.
That's what a good prequel should do.

We need to have a conversation about horror tv revolving around 80s and 90s horror characters. Scream, Chucky, Welcome to Derry, Carrie, and Crystal Lake are all amazing in my opinion and I honestly wouldn’t be mad if they kept making more🤷🏻♂️
DGG’s Halloween trilogy was so close to being one of my favorite trilogies ever. Absolutely love 2018 and Kills but Ends was just straight up disappointing. I don’t dislike it as much as I did when it came out but damn bro I wish it was something completely different
