Oklahoma cannot and will not compete economically with Texas (don’t even think about China) with @Okla_OAG or @RyanWaltersSupt anti-energy positions at 23rd and Lincoln. We’re already getting killed on solar+battery installations bc of policy failures and inaction.
2024 was another record-breaking year for clean energy in the U.S. Here are some stats from an upcoming report I'm working on for @CleanviewEnergy: - 96% of new power capacity was carbon-free - 74% more solar added vs. 2023 - 99% more battery capacity added vs. 2023

Driving only EVs since 2020 taught me a few things: - A regular 110v outlet will fuel an EV. Slow, but it works. - A 15-minute charging stop every two hours lines up with how long my bladder lasts. - FSD on my HW3 Model Y is pretty good and will give it a try again this weekend!

Robert Gasser of the @Brewers is the second pitcher in World Series history to finish a start of 6.0 or more innings having faced the minimum number of batters. The other was Don Larsen in his 1956 perfect game.

⚠️ 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐇𝐘 𝐀𝐈𝐑 𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐊 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓: 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐀𝐘, 𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝟐𝟑 Central Oklahoma is facing its 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐢𝐫 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. ACOG and the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (ODEQ) are forecasting the potential for elevated ozone pollution tomorrow. Air quality conditions may affect sensitive groups, including children, older adults and people with respiratory conditions. Help keep Central Oklahoma's air healthier by taking a few simple steps: 🚗 Combine errands and avoid unnecessary vehicle idling. 🏡 Work from home if possible. 🌱 Postpone mowing and other activities that use gasoline-powered equipment. 🔥 Avoid outdoor burning and follow local burn bans. Small actions can make a difference in reducing emissions and protecting public health. 🔗 Learn more: acogok.org/airquality #HealthyAir #AirQualityAlert #CentralOklahoma #ACOG

Trump on Pope Leo's cancer diagnosis: "His brother is a friend of mine. He's a fantastic guy and his wife, they're big Trump supporters. They're MAGA all over their house. I can say that his brother loves the Pope a lot, and that's good enough for me."

I love getting lectured to by a man that condemns his wife and mother of their children to hell
Vance: He is a threat to your way of life. What is existential is not whether Texas eats less meat, but a guy who thinks you are evil for eating meat could ever represent Texas.

What I have heard from professionals explaining why we have so many competitive races in red states boils down to R voters thinking of the president’s antics, “it’s not funny anymore.” They’re hurting financially due to seemingly capricious actions in the WH while he focuses on memes, arches, and revenge. That the bleeding is in red states means it’s troubling but also solvable. The voters have an inclination to support Rs. Candidates: Fight them to a draw on gas prices. Yes they’re high and that really sucks. But Republicans hate high gas prices! Republicans support energy dominance and maximum fossil-fuel development. These prices are the result of foreign activity; the Iranians and the Russians are causing these gas prices and we’re fighting them both. We’re opening up the oil fields of Venezuela. Democrats want high gas prices. They want you driving electric cars or paying a carbon tax that goes into a remediation fund that pays their activists to teach your kids about how whales are gay or something. Attack them on this! Talk about the Green New Deal. Ask them if they agree with climate lawfare. If gas prices are high, it’s the right time to talk about “climate change.” They want to talk about Iran; make them talk about global warming. If you’re a Senate incumbent vote on all available California-waiver CRAs next week. It is a tangible action you can take that will *actually lower gas prices*. The president can even sign the vessels-at-berth CRA before the elections! Thereby ending a multibillion dollar green import-export tax on all goods coming through CA ports. The President: Stop fighting about ballrooms and arches and whose name is where for a little while. Tell your trade people to figure out which tariffs are raising prices the most in red states and remove them. Declare victory in those trade wars. Do a televised address (scripted, no weaving) on the Iran conflict. Explain why you launched it and how you have achieved all your goals and are now ending it in victory. Most importantly, stick to this course until the elections. Don’t let the fake news goad you into reversing any of it. Make fun of *them* by serving tacos in the WH. You’ll have more than two years in which to settle scores starting on 11/5.

Have too many reusable shopping bags? Don't toss them. Food pantries, shelters and reuse shops may be able to give your extras another life. And when it comes to the ones you keep, the key is simple: put them somewhere visible and actually reuse them.
