Love it when services give the CLI some love. In this case, it works much nicer, especially for managing schema and schema enforcement in Fauna. I highly recommend upgrading to this release!
Fauna’s CLI v4 is officially GA!
Here’s what’s new:
• Simplified auth & config
• Improved text highlighting & output formatting
• Streamlined workflows for databases, schemas, local containers + auto-complete

Very good + interesting thread from Tyson about DSQL and its Calvin roots.
Fauna is the biggest (only?) Calvin-inspired database before DSQL so good thoughts from someone that has been in it a while and knows the tradeoffs.

A few thoughts on the AWS DSQL launch. If you missed the announcement, DSQL is a transactional database with a transaction pipeline that has similarities to what we built at Fauna. The attached images are from the DSQL launch materials and our Fauna technical whitepaper. 1/n

Yesterday's webinar about achieving greater efficiency with true serverless solutions went really well. I especially enjoyed Ryan and Eric's perspectives on serverless using real-world examples and experience.
The replay is definitely worth your time to watch! bit.ly/4fKD7eb
