One of my lukewarm horror takes is that slashers can afford the odd costume change. Not just early on when the design is taking shape, but vary up the established look. Middle Halloween had hints of this but no one had the balls to ditch the Kirk mask for more than a scene or two

I think Sack-head Jason is legitimately a more thematically resonant design for him given how it evokes the masks worn by people like Joseph Merrick. That being said, I can understand why they ditched it considering the inevitable Town That Dreaded Sundown comparisons.

Let me get this straight. Britain's prisons are so full that we're systematically releasing hundreds of violent criminals early, many of which go on to immediately re-offend. And the government is now planning to lock people up (for 2 years!) for watching videos that are widely available in the US/EU and consumed by a large share of the population (including many women). You really don't hate politicians enough.

I'm 99% certain that "some people don't have an internal monologue" isn't actually true and we're instead just conceptualising "thinking" differently. We all think the same way but we use different words to describe it. It's the same with aphantasia.
