I torture myself because there’s hundreds of thousands of people essentially defrauding the migration system in Australia which is driving up rents and leading to the rise of one nation where legitimate concerns from everyday people are brushed off.
Then the media elite and the political class say anyone that questions the system is racist.
We’ve been gaslit for years and it’s infuriating.
If Labor had done the policy’s they’re finally implanting now in 2022 rents would be a lot lower and one nation wouldn’t be polling at 30%

Why do you torture yourself like this?
I’d bet at least half of these types of posts are from people just trolling people like you. Fish in a barrel.

This is either completely dishonest or completely clueless from the PM and is disgraceful. The page doing the rounds clearly attacks Haines and implies she has double standards on porkbarrelling and may have hidden conflicts of interest.

So it's only OK when the USA does extraterritorial abductions. Not Australia? Right?

We should double property taxes for people over 65 to encourage downsizing and free up inventory for young families
“I’m old. I’ve paid my home off,” said Ray Warner, a 72-year-old Akron resident. “Why would I pay property tax?”
Across the country, homeowners are asking the same question and revolting against property taxes at a scale not seen in a half century.

No young people should have to pay a pension and benefits to you( which you haven’t saved for) when you’re living in a 2M home.

Here is another excellent tax reform from @JEChalmers - trusts have for too been an outrageous tax lurk, harming PAYG tax payers; 40 trusts/1000 people - way more than USA & UK.
Of course brain dead LNP oppose it, as do tax lurk traders
So do it now!

One of the things old people do that appears to piss off nearly every young person is assume all problems in dating stem from a knowledge gap
The olds believe they just have to “tell young people where the girls are” or “suggest they talk to girls,” because the young people must not know - otherwise they would be doing it!
It never occurs to them that both men and women know where to find each other, and they already realize that talking is a prerequisite to forming relationships
The reason they’re not doing these things is because people mutually value coed companionship less now. The value proposition of a relationship is worse for both sides than it used to be, so less people seek them out
Old people restructured society into something young people no longer desire to continue. You cannot fix that with advice about attending yoga class

"Old people restructured society into something young people no longer desire to continue."
This is a very elegant phrasing of something I've been trying to explain to my mother for quite some time now.
Something to the effect of:
"You benefitted enormously from myriad social norms and societal conditions (most importantly demographics) which your generation tirelessly worked to remove or undermine, and my generation now suffers the consequences of those changes while your generation remains largely inoculated from them. And those consequences are absolutely devastating in ways you are not capable of ever comprehending because you lack gnosis or direct experiential knowledge of the devastation."
The Boomers have a completely anachronistic perspective that fails to comprehend how significantly they changed the world. They don't see it because they primarily socialize within their own cohort which largely does not reflect the severity of the changes imposed upon our cohort. And even if they could see it, cognitive dissonance prevents them from recognizing that the changes they made were so overwhelmingly for the worse that their ego would never allow them to actually process it.
And so we are stuck more or less waiting for them to die so we can get to work in unmaking the Hell their naive utopianism wrought.

We under-35s gave up our formative years and our economy to protect the 75+ crowd from a virus that was statistically non-lethal for us.
Our reward: financial ruin, while Boomers cash SS checks, book cruises, and call us lazy.
Why did we save them again?

I consider myself an expert on the Boomer mind and Boomer psychology.
I want to explain something that hopefully you already realize. Boomers literally get off knowing they had it better and every generation since them has it worse. It's Intergenerational Sociopathy, which is a term coined by author Bruce Cannon Gibney in his book 'A Generation of Sociopaths' which I entirely agree with.
If you haven't read the book I recommend it. The world and particularly the developed Western world is so f'd up primarily because of Boomers. Further, the Boomer is such a sociopath they would rather let the world literally destroy itself than do anything to fix it. Any type of coalition or anything with Boomers is impossible as I've repeatedly shown. They simply lack the required empathy to overrule their selfish and self-centered ethos. As such, the world will not truly be able to be fixed until the Boomers are gone.
