This article's title is sarcastic. It describes Microsoft and Epic's recent takedowns of AI-assisted ports of their games. Neither company has changed its overall stance on AI. x.com/TimSweeneyEpic…

Hello I’ve built probably the first working Nintendo Switch 2 emulator in the world. There are many WIP and highly experimental things, but... it is finally working! OP forked a emulator and faked screenshots to claim as his own. Screenshot has a SynthID marking. Furthermore - Original screenshots were posted before Switch 2 games could be dumped via exploit. Original emulator is not able to load any commercial games. x.com/kalayaanint/st… x.com/producdevity/s…

The Switch 2 dumps have given us access to proper 3D models of previously 2D-only Wonder assets thanks to Mario Tennis Fever. These and the Mario model are so high poly, they were clearly made for renders, not to be used in real time. It's crazy that these run in-game.
