ICE is not about immigration. Think about the difference between an arrest and a kidnapping. ICE is about normalizing a paramilitary force on our streets.

Trump’s message to working-class voters? If you can’t afford groceries, maybe you should try a $5,000 hamburger at Mar-a-Lago.
This is how out of touch with reality this guy is.

But, but, UN General Assembly ADOPTED resolution on the necessity of ending the US economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States of America against Cuba
Result of the vote:
In favor: 130
Against: 17
Abstain: 25
So, US’s position is overwhelmingly opposed by the countries of the world l

A monumental life dedicated to the relentless pursuit of justice, equity, and human dignity. Dolores Huerta showed us that true strength lies in lifting up the overlooked. Her voice is stilled, but the path she paved remains. Rest in power, a true American icon
Dolores Huerta represented the best of us.
California — and the United States — would not be what we are today without her resolute spirit, her passion for justice and fairness, and her commitment to those overlooked and forgotten.
Dolores' fight for gender equity, workers' rights, and civil rights paved the way for generations to come — teaching people what was possible with determination and heart.
Her legacy lies not just in the accomplishments she achieved, but in the people who follow in her footsteps, take up the mantle, and keep creating a better world.

A federal judge in Los Angeles denied a Trump administration request Wednesday to immediately block California elections officials from counting the ballots of 20,000 voters whose citizenship the administration questions in a blistering opinion.
The judge ruled that the administration’s allegations were “not credible” and that the intervention it sought would violate a host of federal laws, sow chaos in the ongoing midterm election, likely lead to the disenfranchisement of legitimate voters and foster future political meddling in elections.

And they call this brutal, genocidal, Jewish supremacist, settler colonial and apartheid state the “only democracy” in the Middle East.
How absurd!
Five million Palestinians living under Israeli occupation cannot vote in today’s Israeli elections. Yet the government those elections produce will wield power over their lives—and they will bear the horrific consequences of its decisions without any voice in choosing it.
This is the reality of 🇮🇱 apartheid: 59 years of 🇮🇱 military occupation, absolute power without accountability, without freedom, without justice or basic rights.
5 million Palestinians are denied a voice in their own future.

A message to those who still believe that it all started on October 7. No, it didn't. A 'managed genocide', to keep 1.5 million Palestinians "on the edge of life" was in force years before. Read the latest report by Eyal Weizman:
"A military document called ‘Red Lines’ set the minimum number of calories required to sustain Gaza’s population at a level just above the UN definition of hunger (2100 calories a day for men, 1700 for women and a varying amount for children depending on gender and age). The total number of calories was translated into the tonnage required to feed Gaza’s then population of 1.5 million and thus the number of aid trucks allowed into the territory. The same went for megawatts of electricity and litres of fuel and water. What was seen as good behaviour was rewarded by an increase in the amounts coming in, any acts of resistance by the tightening of the siege, like a population-scale version of a Milgram experiment."

This is deeply troubling.
We just learned that Pete Hegseth’s Spiritual Advisor said that “separation of church and state does not exist”
Pete Hegseth is a threat to American democracy and must be fired immediately.

18 U.S.C. § 592 is a law enacted by Congress that prohibits federal or military officials from ordering, bringing, or keeping troops or 'armed men' at any place where an election is being held. In some cases, federal officials can monitor an election, but that is all they are allowed to do. Let's follow the law and vote.

What is ridiculous is the frivolous charges by a DOJ that has been weaponized to go after anyone who has exposed Trump’s lawlessness, and corruption. That is why Trump’s vendetta campaign has failed again and again and again, even in front of Trump-appointed right wing judges.
