“Arrêtez! C’est pas la cause!”
Watch this. Then watch it again. Carve it into your memory.
The stunned look. The way she tries to reason with savages. The way she still deludes herself about what the “cause” actually is.
In a few days, leftists will start rewriting this into something noble, a just expression of a righteous cause. The looting and destruction will be reframed as resistance.
“Ce n’est pas la cause”. But it is the cause, my simple French lady.
Did you really think this was about textbooks? The leftist media, teachers, activists, and politicians who lied to you never did.
“The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.”
And that revolution is hatred and destruction in action.
You’d expect people who don’t understand this to finally get it when it happens to them. She probably won’t.
Accepting the truth would mean reevaluating everything she was taught about multiculturalism, leftism, egalitarianism, immigration, and coexistence. It would mean admitting that much of what she was told was racist, bigoted, fascist, and xenophobic was actually just reality.
Most people can’t carry that weight. So they’ll rationalize it away, blame a few bad individuals, insist the values are still noble, and move on. They’re wrong, but it’s easier than admitting the ideology produces this.

“Our experiments suggest that small AI models may be months away from being capable enough to self-replicate on commercial IoT devices, like smart ovens and off-brand Android TV boxes. A replicator like this would be challenging to shut down, since there’s no centralized point to shut off - though it may be slow (with a doubling time of days). Unlike non-AI malware, it could also figure out unfamiliar devices on its own. In our evals, a 9B model got inference running on 8 of the 9 hardware types we tested.
Models of 30B parameters and under can already complete many of the individual steps for replication today, though they make mistakes when composing them end to end. In our simplified evals, GLM-5.2 and stronger models are capable of end to end replication. If small models improve at their historical rate, they’ll match this capability level by the end of this year. Small weight-based replicators may be possible soon after.” -@bucketofkets @willzhou97

Meanwhile, zero entrants even bothered to hack into an iPhone for the competition prize.
‼️ BREAKING: Google's Pixel 10 was remotely hacked three times in one day at Pwn2Own Ireland.
Three separate teams broke into the phone. Ikotas Labs chained multiple bugs for $300,000, the contest's top prize, and won Master of Pwn. Xint earned $150,000 and a CENSUS Labs and Mobile Hacking Lab team $112,500 for their own Pixel 10 exploits.
Google has 90 days to patch.
Almost all of Danish living and deceased citizens' social security numbers, addresses and other private information was leaked in September.
Now the hacker allegedly told a local newspaper that the password was "123456".
In an interview, he says: "It's like leaving 10 kg plutonium in a train station, and a homeless guy steals it. Sure, you shouldn't steal, but you probably shouldn't leave 10 kg plutonium unguarded in the middle of the train station."
Maybe maintaining high security in a high trust society takes a little practice.

We’re rapidly heading towards a world where software is tailor made ad hoc. And soon enough, it’s not just software, but literature, movies, physical products and everything else you can imagine.
Opus 5.5 is great. It just seems to *get it*, the code it writes fits in nicely with the existing code base, it makes good decisions, clean design, well thought out. It's like a 10^10x engineer. When anybody can build any kind of software, where does that leave the industry?
>be senior devops engineer in Germany
>master's degree, 10 years experience, five interview rounds
>72,000€ before tax
>C2 German required

>"we have a startup mindset"
>company founded in 1894, CEO is the founder's great-grandson
>"we have flat hierarchies"
>eight people can veto your decision, none can approve it
>hired to "drive digital transformation"
>need department head's signature to install Docker
>service account request rejected because "accounts must belong to a person"
>CI/CD pipeline ends with a ticket for Jürgen
>Jürgen on holiday until the 23rd
>AI tools forbidden because Datenschutz
>database password in an encrypted Excel file called Passwörter_final_NEU.xlsx
>root password in Confluence
>on-call every weekend
>company phone listed under benefits
>ask for a raise
>unfortunately the salary band is exhausted
>no budget for a second monitor
>external consultant gets 1,400€ a day to ask you how the code works
>take banana from company fruit basket
>office manager says those are for the upcoming customer visit

For the EU bureaucrat class, the populace having access to non-state vetted, unsanctioned information is entirely unfathomable. Free speech is an alien concept to them.
Silencing and name calling doesn’t make the problem go away
Just extraordinary.
This woman, her party, and nearly the entire political and media establishment of Germany, did everything they could for years to avoid having a "fact-based debate" — indeed everything they could to control the narrative around the statistical data clearly showing the damage that immigration from the Muslim world was doing — and sought to marginalize and shut down or even ban persons, political groups and parties begging for such a debate.
We’re sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, one of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics.
The proof was produced by a group of agents, using an OpenAI next-generation model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra.
The problem concerns whether the description of smooth three-dimensional fluid motion modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations can break down. It has remained unresolved for roughly 90 years.

this rumor that Anthropic has solved a Millennium Prize Problem is getting very interesting.
