🔵 News - Democrats flipped the Texas State Board of Education and can scrap the mandate requiring Bible stories in public school classrooms before it starts in 2030.

The only 'compromise' some of these Reopen the Great Highway folks were interested in seems to be compromising people's safety. Maybe the delusion & derangement will finally end when they allow themselves to take a stroll along Sunset Dunes to lower their cortisol levels.

He’s gonna lose the primary. He wins. He’s gonna lose the general. He wins. He’s gonna win only narrowly. He wins by 7. All the while, record levels of money spent against him; the president and media target him daily with racist abuse; and his former Dem rival endorses his GOP opponent. But apparently, he is an ‘under performer.’ 🤷🏽‍♂️

A striking stat re AIPAC performance in the midterms. In 2022, almost 70% of its funds went into races where it got the desired result. In 2024, it was 87%. In 2026, that figure is 34%. responsiblestatecraft.org/ai…

Maybe DSA SF should start endorsing good policies and candidates (like Nithya who is awesome) instead of insanely bizarre obstructionist crap and mountains of red tape + awful conservative sacks of shit who hate housing and bikes and transit like Connie Chan and aaron peskin....
Being a major city without a DSA mayor. Embarrassing for SF that we get diet Bloomberg

Would just like to note that this passed with 65% support and the people who want NYC streets to remain dangerous car sewers & free parking forever do not actually represent some silent majority of residents despite their constant whining.

The midterm results send a clear message: How we show up in the world affects our lives at home, and Americans understand that. When we alienate allies, appease autocrats, impose arbitrary tariffs, and drive needless conflict, American families pay the price. The Administration’s actions over the last two years have had real consequences for our security, our economy, and our everyday lives. Americans have spoken loud and clear. We should act on the message they're sending.  A good place to start: a diplomatic resolution to President Trump's war of choice with Iran.

In an NBC News poll last week, Hakeem Jeffries had an approval rating of 18%, and Chuck Schumer's was 13%. It's wild seeing them both act like they have mandates to lead the party going forward.
